Watching you and your mom thrift shopping brings tears to my eyes remembering the times I would do this with my mom. My mom has been gone for 7 years and I miss her so much. God bless you!!!!

Watching this made me miss my mom. The last almost four years since she passed have been difficult. She too was an artist and painter like your mom and I am blessed to have many of her paintings. The two of us loved going to thrift stores, consignment boutiques and antique store together. So glad you are able to spend time with your mom. Cherish every minute!

So relaxing to listen to the music, and just “shop” along with you, and listen to the beautiful music in the background, and read your occasional comment. That canister the brown with the lid is a canning jar, found a lot on the property we bought but smaller
“It was only $1!” is also what I tell myself when I get too many cool things from the thrift stores lol :)

Great finds and fun times with mom! That canister that locks a little extra on top is a compost canister. Basically you can keep it in your kitchen for compostable scraps until it's ready to be taken out to the compost. It locks extra tight to keep smell in.
You can use those brass candle things (that you wanted to use as curtain holders) as wall brackets for a small shelf!!

So proud of you for taking a flight. Southwest is fabulous with their "no middle seats" policy and all. And yes, there are more people in the grocery store than in the airport. I've flown twice this year on Southwest and found it comforting. Wish more people would realize that.

Xo, you have inspired me so much on thrift shopping, home decor, DIY projects, etc. Today, I went thrift shopping looking for decor, and didn't think I was going to find much. I ended up finding 2 huge ceramic bowls and like 8 vases that were SO beautiful, and each piece was under $4, and one of the vases I got....I couldn't believe the price they were selling it for, but i am in LOVE. Now, my husband is scared bc I got the home decor bug and I can't wait till we move to our home so I can start putting stuff together.
