I’m glad I’m not the only one who makes a HUGE mess when I’m decorating or DIYing. I have a habit of leaving all my tools laying around when I’m gardening outside because I just can’t be bothered 😂

The amount of time and effort you put into the "production value" of your videos is the main reason I subscribed to your channel. Even though the things you create are totally not my style, I love watching your videos anyways. Your professionalism and authenticity is what makes you stand apart from a lot of other DIY youtubers out there. I really wish you the best success in the future! You deserve it!
I forget what I put in various boxes too... what I wound up doing was having a master list of everything in a particular box in a ledger in the office... so far, I can find it all!

Maybe buy some plastic totes to store projects. Big enough to hold everything, keep it organized, can be stacked and slap a label on it.
I keep a whole file folder of paint swatches. Work great for shopping too when you are matching colors. Plus showing color trends each year. I’m a “color holic”
Oh I soooo relate to being creative and when doing projects I make such a mess!!!! The clutter then makes me depressed & crazy!!! So many projects in a small space- madness!! Not enough storage space!!
You will be so happy when you get into a house and have space!!!

I have a lot of stuff. And I don’t have a business, or do diy’s. I just like stuff. And I don’t have storage in my house. There’s just me, my husband and three dogs. We have three bedrooms and every closet is full. I have a lot of clothes. I just put all my blazers and Sherpa jackets in the guest room closet. Plus, we have all our extra stuff in a storage unit also. We downsized a whole lot. Way more than I realized. And that’s after getting rid of more than half our things. So I know exactly how you feel.
Awwwwww MaCenna! One room at a time. Put similar things together, and then separate the things that you really need right now and things you need for future videos or projects. Keep things out that you you use frequently versus things you use on occasion.

Save the money! I know people who have master degrees in interior designs and they have a hard time finding a job. Everyone wants to be their own interior designer

omg what is it with dogs and vacuums. my dog does the same thing but she doesn’t bark she growls. and she bites it then runs away then comes back and bites it again lol

My dog goes away as soon as I switch the vacuum on. Then she comes back, looks at it, and goes away again. Then she comes back... Repeat. ))))

It’s funny how you talked about your dream house and how you wanted black windows. I just recently finished painting all my interior windows black. It turnout beautiful. Hopefully in summer I’ll do my exterior window too.

Although, my home never really gets clean anymore due to two small kids who constantly brings out toys and me being too exhausted to clean the house every day..
