- Another great thrift store haul but this time I didn't have to drive all the way to Virginia Beach to do it. I was able to fit in 3 thrift store stops. Gift & Thrift, a consignment store and one of the smallest thrift stores I've ever been in. I found a lot of great vintage glassware, candle holders, flower vases and brass! The Fall Reset will be the next video so stay tuned!

It's so funny. I paused the video to see if my dog was snoring. Nope! and then I rocked around in my seat, thinking my couch was making new noises .nope! I restart the video, and there's the word "snoring," and you're explaining that noise is your dog snoring. LOL. So funny!

It’s really a skill to make the old look ‘fresh’ at the same time keeping the integrity of the antiques that we all love and respect. Your ability to mix some of the more modern with the old (which always complements both) and make those small improvements without ruining things is just done ‘perfectly’-I’ve been doing ‘antiquing’ for 45 years and it makes me so happy to see you at it like you are. I was thinking antiques were finished as here in Vegas things have taken a nose dive - most all our antique stores have closed and people are giving their antiques away on offer up for free if you just pick them up. Just sickening.😢 I’m so happy that people like you are keeping this important tradition and our historic items of value circulating with meaning!

It is a “pipe” but an old fashioned one for blowing bubbles:)
If I see someone filming I purposely avoid them because I think they're working and I don't want to mess their video up, not because I think they're weird!
Thanks for that 😂 It’s not in the video but in the first thrift shop someone did complain about me filming (not the older gentleman checking me out). It happens but not too often.

The potato shakers and tureen were so cool!
That cute picture of the little boy with the old clay pipe is a variation of the bubble boy. In the bowl is soapy water and he is dipping the pipe into water and blowing bubbles. The moon is actually an impressively big bubble. 😊
The first thrift store was set up really nicely. Like a boutique almost 😮

Perfect video! When you do your reset, do you take items out of the booth and store them, and then try later to sell them, or just work them into your new reset?
I stumbled across your channel recently and am so inspired. I have wanted to start a booth for a while and love seeing how you shop and then style your booth. Just curious because it's something I'm scared of, but have you ever come across a piece from the thrift store that had bed bugs? That's the one thing that makes me nervous about thrifting.

When you get really old framed art, do you take it apart and clean the inside glass? I've picked up a couple of things and think they should be cleaned, but i just dont want to ruin the art.
Oh my gosh i just found you today and have only watched one other video your more recent thrifting video and you sat the camera on the counter while paying and i thought how funny it would be if the employee picked it up to charge you for it and filmed their face. So when the guy just did it in this video i cracked up! 😊
