In this video I'm gonna show you how you can take your aim from a whiffing mess, to landing some of the wildest shots thatâll even have you surprise yourself. I'll cover how to best optimize your settings for easier aiming control, we touch on the best settings to change such as; nvidia reflex, vsync, enhance pointer precision and resolution. Recommendations for setting up your sensitivity, allowing you to more comfortably control your pmc.
One thing you need to understand about aim is that it requires time, time to build up muscle memory, so that when a pmc appears on the edge of your screen you body already knows how much you need to move your mouse to get the target in your sights. And one of the best ways to keep things consistent and build muscle memory quicker is to run the same loadout. Its no secret that equipment in tarkov can change your movement speed and mouse sensitivity, and its really annoying to be honest, it can really mess you up sometimes. So again if youâre not quite feeling comfortable with your controls, keep running the same loadout, or similar until you essentially become one with your pmc.

Hey! If you're reading this thanks for watching đ come say hello to me live :)

The technique you use when you let people walk into your aim point is an actual thing used by snipers called trapping bc you trap them in your sights when they walk in
itâs always refreshing to get a concise, well explained help guide. You didnât try to boil the ocean, just hitting a few key points with some practical tips. I keep meaning to do some tweaking of my settings and offline practice, thanks for reminding me!
thanks for the kind words mate!
@@2Lew What's your DPI setting? Aim sensitivity baselines are meaningless without mentioning that.
I need to remember boil the ocean lol. I like that
@@tonysiouxfan well like he said, be able to do a 180 comfortably, thats the usual rule of thumb; if youre spinning too fast but the sens is already really low, lower your dpi.
Hey Lew, my friends have gotten me into EFT recently. I've been loving every moment while on my Timmy adventures. Obviously new to the game and sometimes don't understand everything you mention in your videos. But I've been loving your content! Just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put in.
I absolutely love your content dude!!
recently joined the game, and your perspective on the game is making the game a better experience!
thanks for the kind comment man, im glad you're finding the content helpful :)
After watching your vids I've recently started playing Tarkov again! Honestly your videos and streams are so chill and helpful I love your content! This video is awesome too because I didn't even know you could do offline raids. I have been too scared to play unfamiliar maps because I had to spend so much time to get used to the 2 maps I play (Customs and Shoreline) and even still I have to have a map on my second monitor!
Your videos are simply on another level Lew. This was a great presentation.
Good work, Iâve enjoyed using the assault scopes for awhile and when I found your videos I felt more comfortable in doing so.
Thank u for all the knowledge Lew! Iâve been finding a lot of success in eft recently and ill be implementing the factory warm up :)
lets go dude! and thanks for your support brother
Thank you for you videos Lew! They're always entertaining and very helpful keep up the good work!
As always mate, keep up the good work! Wish I could catch more streams but I love your videos. So good
My guy. You deserve WAY more subs and rec for this level of content. Donât let up!
Duuude that 215 action in the beginning is so nice to a fellow 215 enjoyer like myself!
As always my guy, your content quality is through the roof and steadily increasing.
Keep up the amazing work!
as always. love your content lew my guy you're one hell of a content creator! much love as always and i hope you're doing well mate!
What a video again!!! Recently found your yt channel and I love the videos.
Hey Lew, your uploads are appreciated. Thanks for always entertainingđ§Ą
2Lew as always, much love brotha and thanks for another amazing vidđ„â€ïž
and thank you for the support homie!
I donât really have aim problem. I mostly die because i donât know when to run and when to slow walk, when to pop a painkillers, when to reload and when to heal
play factory for 3 days, thats how you speed run learning pvp
@@2Lew Instructions unclear. Now I'm broke af.
@@pnarimani6055 scav run factory and you can make an easy 70k. way more if you can snag some good loot.

Still strugging in pvp fights cuz i've started playing tarkov few weeks ago. Your guides are really great and thanks to that i still have motivation to be better in Tarkov. Have a great day :D
jus found you a little while ago and you make me feel like a champ runnin in those raidsâŠwell at least when I make it out aliveđ
Nice work, i like the settings in-depth its something a lot of people do not do. And if someone was new to pc they will miss that mouse pointer so all around good vid!
assault scopes also have an advantage that many people don't mention: you can walk with them while still being able to aim
Amazing stuff per usual. All great advice for any person who plays.
I wish Tarkov had a theater mode, where I could go back and watch the trace bullets and how they kill people. Showing impact and even grenade shrapnel. Kind of how DayZ can do the same. It would be very beneficial I think
They could add this, but I don't think BSG cares
@@arcticfox037 i feel like that would siphon the already lacking performance
@@xxsilentwhistlexx The game already tracks all player actions to relay to other clients through a server, all they would have to do is record that data and emulate it.
Really nice video, great example clips showcasing what you are talking about
Nice video. Really solid content manđ
I looked at your channel 2 hours ago and was sad that I already have seen all your vids and now you upload, day saved đ
Brilliant tips! I have played many shooters and seen many aim tips but somehow I missed the simple brilliance of letting targets walk into your crosshairs. I've already seen improvement just on that tip alone.
This is really helpful thank youâ€ïž
turning off that mouse acceleration thing really helped. Thank you so much, I feel like I'm so much better at shooting now lol
glad to hear it mate :)
Banger as usual, always helpful tips
I love 1:1 sensitivity but it's very hard to do so on this game, due to the gear adjusting your turning speed. The ADS sensitivity isn't affected by the gear you wear though.
Yes it does by a little bit.
@@sobi1080 ADS sens isnt changed, the hip is. Nikita confirmed ages ago
Short and sweet :) thank you for the vid!
cheers for the words dude
Been looking for an updated settings video appreciate the drop

Great video mate! Hope you're well!...keep up the great work!

Looking for a video to watch while I eat and this pops up.
Perfect timing!

enjoy the food mate :)
thanks lew, i have been on 1:1 aiming/looking sens, thinking consistency = good. actually good tip
Really helpful thanks for the video
I still haven't recovered from the emotional rollercoaster of the last video.

it is helpful for the beginners. thank you!
have you tried the new trihawk 3x scope yet i havent seen any streamers use it

*Me sitting last wipe with my 1 raid laughing*
love the vids as always lew
whats your opinion on FOV ? more zoom in feel vs less recoil feel.
Not boring to go through settings I hit the like button right when you said let's move on from the boring stuff it's truly just helpful
Thanks man, appreciate it
very nice info there.. thank you!
literally 20 minutes ago? amazing timing lew. Cheers for the great video!
thanks for the words brother
I'll give you even better tip: bind "hold breath" to right mouse button, on release.
Any tips on dealing with flinching while close to mid range sniping? I swear everyone I try to snipe at someone I get flinched and my cross hair gets moved around
i bought sneak cause of one of your videos and its changed my life. also your videos inspire me to play and get better, even when ive not played for a little while ill watch one of your vids and get the urge to play again (and then usually quickly remember why i quit)
Ayy a new video! You impress me every time â€ïž

Hey man, love your vids! Can you tell me why you have HBAO on high? Just curious đ
Your videos and editing are amazing!
thank you friend :D
Another banger Lew đ„
good guide, but damn the game looking clean, which post FX were you running for this one?
Why my aim has improved _over the last few wipes_ - that's a lot of time man! Practice probably helped more than what scope you practiced with...
Thx this is great!
Whatâs your mouse DPI set to? That plays a good factor
Great video Lew!
Honestly have to say⊠I bought the game this December. I always try to follow running PMC/scavs and headshot. Never thought about moving the crosshair forward and letting them walk into it. Thanks bud. I subbed.
nice content bro and thanks
Thanks Lew đ
So when you day 180 is that middle of mouse pad to to one end left or right?
(enhance point prescicion) this helped alot thank you bro
Ty this helped bro
I wish you posted more frequently! Your videos are great!
Got me with the "im just better bro."
Instructions unclear, got my private part stuck in the barrel of a mosin.
Youâre really good dude!
Awesome content as per!
My settings are quite like yours what dpi is good for you ? Been thinking about making a change to mine as I feel it's a bit choppy for me
I got a 4 pmc kill raid after this lmao I havenât even killed that many last wipe lmao.
2lew coming out with the hotfixes for a persons aiming
haha thanks for the support bro
@@2Lew of course!
Offline factory slaps helped me so much to get comfortable with my gear and aim, great insight!!
After watching this isnât the tarkov we know vid I love you so much I watching aim tutorial when I donât even have a PC LOL
your emy favorite youtuber keep up the content always enjoying it
just a question about the sensitivity you were saying that if we like the feel of older cod games that we would most likely enjoy your settings but what dpi do you use 400, 800, 1200?
Lew forgot to mention in his description of himself at the end that he also frequently references runescape while playing tarkov, and its hilarious
Keep up the good work !
Hey 2Lew, whats your DPI Rate on your Mouse?
Do you need to lead shots in this game ?
thank you for the video Mr LEw
Yoooo that was smooth
Phenomenal point with the âscav runs arenât representative of what your pmc will feel like.â I used to scav before my first pmc raid and my scav always has higher stam, more due to weight of the play than time on player but I digress, when I would load into my pmc match I would find myself in fights thinking I had stam when I was just running out, I played like this for months before I realized, now just going offline in horde mode, set to impossible actually made me a better player and got rid of fight anxiety
Can somebody please tell me what scope and sniper he was using in the beggining of the video?
I actually use the DPI clutch button on my mouse. I've used it for years now so I don't even know when I'm pressing it anymore during fights, it's second nature. So really I have 3 settings, normal walking around, aim down sights, and what I call "focused aiming". It allows me to snipe long range with just a red dot with ease and track players extra smoothly. I get the craziest head taps all the time and surprise myself often.
Great video wish I would have found you sooner bro.
How did you change your sens so low? Is there a console command?
What monitor do you use?
Keep up the work lew!
thanks mate! appreciate the words
Great job! Love the video. One question what DPI do you use on your mouse?
800
As always a great video!!!
What mouse DPI do you use?
I learned how to aim through sniping in tf2, still helps lol
Another 2Lew video babyyyyyyyyyy
s0mz đ
your game play is so fluid, may i ask what sort of pc specks you have? im usually getting frames in the 40s when i play solo, and then in mid 20s/30s when i have to stream with my friends on discord. i dont even have time to ADS or else scavs kill me, and most of the time i cant even see PMCs when they burst into a room and the frames drop into the teens
What DPI do you use Lew ?
Whats the name of the scope Lew using on hes VPO in the begining of the video?
P.S.
Ohhh he actually show it in the other section.
For anyone who's on their first wipe the Monstrum 2x could honestly be the best assault scope in the game. Highly recommend.
