In this video I’ll be talking about one of the most controversial metas, and how you can abuse it to increase your survival rate in raid.. lets see what you’re up against.. It’s no surprise that the SVT & AVT has reached the forefront of the meta this wipe, and although many are taking advantage of this completely broken trend.. there’s still those of you that still need convincing, and today I'm going to show you why you might want to reconsider using this new kit.

@billymcclanahan1794 I do, it's true to the advertisements, and I have restricted the RAM usage to 400MB and can still run around 3 tabs + youtube and themed extensions
tried it few months ago. Used for about 2 months and ended up back with Chrome. It's nice...but I'm in too deep with Google and linked accounts to swap. Opera is cool tho especially if your new in the PC game lol
Hardest thing about Tarkov is that it messes with every bit of muscle memory because the momentum and difference in stance
After spending a fair amount of time on aim trainers, can confirm muscle memory is a scam. Muscle memory is for things like learning a certain jump or technique for movement, it’s not for aim. I can get a score on kovaaks, switch to half that sens and get the same score. If your aim is a problem, try the voltaic benchmarks and fundamentals. Promise it will be worth your time if you want to improve your aim

As a gamer, if you don't practice your point and click adventure skills you will struggle the higher the skill of your opponents is, and repetitions help build the sense that you need to perform the actions you want. As a biologist, you create and reinforce neural connections through repeated use of them, so by repeating a certain action, set of actions, behaviors, etc. you can physically reinforce them so that they are literally hardwired into your nervous system

@@wesleykim1758 This is true to a major extent, but if Tarkov was impossible to get good at because of all the factors that contribute to the movement and turn speed, then we wouldn't have pro Tarkov guys. I think you're talking past him a little bit. I'm not a fancy biologist, but I am an accomplished shooter so I know very well how important "muscle memory" is to a certain extent, won't deny that. But there's also another element that deals with the random and unfamiliar things.
@@wesleykim1758 You misunderstood what I’m saying. A lot of people think muscle memory is “I need to move my mouse exactly 16.2cm to do that flick”, but that flick could be 20% more or less and you’d still hit it if you have good mouse control.

Still remember one woods raid where I was in attachments hut. Was in the room someone ran in and I was aiming at the door with a m133 with buckshot. Did 4 quick shots into the doorway... Missed all the shots... Guy goes running out and I chase only to shoot the last 2 rounds, miss again and get 1 tapped... Yeh not my best day.

I love that the fully auto 7.62x54R with wooden furniture has less recoil than a 5.56 with more handels than a man has hands.

I started this wipe about a month and a half ago. I bought the svt and lps off fence at level 1. Used it til I got flea. It's just like the sniper mosin being an equalizer except better cause it's semi
Yeah, it's really like release wipe of the mosin all over again... it went from mosin man to SVT man, and I used it a few times (not really interested in the wipe much just waiting for December major wipe) and holy sweet jesus. Only knock against it is the long ADS (due to low ergo).

As a person who picked up Tarkov late wipe, and stuck at lvl 1 traders with a 25% survival rate, I can confirm that this gun is awesome...

scav reserve, get top tier 545 ammo and high end attachments, then pvp, take their sh1t, and scav again. then repeat.

I was the same, and idk what happened with my gameplay, but my SR creeped up to %45. Having a blast at level 30 right now.

Yeah I've pretty much just started about a week ago and get relentlessly shit on and scav runs usually end with a player scav killing me for no reason

A bit of history: compared to his cousin the AVS-36, the AVT-40 had many MANY problems. First, the muzzle brake was ineffective when you would go full auto. Second, the stock had a tendency to crack and break when firing the weapon. Third, since this was an SVT-40 converted into a fully automatic gun, the barrel was not made for the stress induced by the 750 rpm of 54r, all of the rifling would melt by firing just 200 rounds in full auto. This gun was made for the sole purpose that 2 years prior, in 1938 the red army had gotten rid of all of the SMG in stock. But when fighting the fins during the winter war, they realized that they needed something for close quarters combat and all they had was mosin-nagan, SVT-38/40 and a few expensive AVS-36. That why they converted SVT to this crappy automatic version.
Love it how random internet guy knows more about the gun than the russians developing the game. Retards literally made a cheaper loud as val + easy access ammo. Got max traders and deleted. I aint losing no flirs to avt rats tyvm.

Just FYI: They reset the bosses all back to random spawns. Reshala can spawn anywhere if he's in game now. IDK when you recorded this video, but as of today, right now, Reshala has a chance to spawn in places other than Dorms.
Starting late in the wipe I've been focusing mostly on weapon fashion than meta builds, really enjoying it and its gonna be even better with the new recoil change hopefully!
That's how I've been from the start, so I'm right there with you. Hopefully they quell the cheater problem next wipe, otherwise I'm just doing arena pve.
@@bradleycavalier1311 If they can't solve cheating in normal Tarkov I'm just moving to Arena as well.
Normal Tarkov will be cheaters and timmys, Arena will be anyone interested in pvp.
@@piffi9431 assuming arena won't be flooded with CSGO style spin cheaters. I don't care for tarkov pvp as there is no reward to it. I can make better money on my money route, I don't like players gear and their guns are ugly.
So arena says it coming with a pve mode, and would be fun with my squad doing horde survival.

When it comes to balance in Tarkov, I may be an outcast on this topic because I have a very "anarchistic" view of it. For me, balance does not matter that much because, at the end of the day, my actions and decisions decide mostly my outcome in a raid. If I take my fight with a Gigachad with my lvl 5 PMC and MP5 with Pst gzh and lose it. It is my fault because I tried to fight it in a disadvantageous way. If I had the choice of flanking, ambushing him, or just fleeing, it does not matter because in the end these decision leads to my survival, and I can re-focus on doing quests and killing scavs for example. If I get killed by a gun that costs about 60k roubles and I had a full kit worth a half million roubles, so be it. Like in DayZ, I also can not prohibit certain weapon spawns and the decision-making of players.
That's why as an actual low-skilled player I agree 100% with you when it comes to stomping noobs. These are PMCs like everyone else and if they played smart they could had been a threat to you. When they start to play the game and quit because they die a lot, then it is not a game for them mate. Winners train, losers complain, sounds pretentious but really, what do you get done by complaining and crying and "out-calling" different players when they kill noobs? Nothing you lose.
TL;DR - Weapon balance does not matter to me all that much because I have an anarchistic view of it and noob stomping is fine.

Yo , decent editing , just wondering what PC build you using for this good image quality and performance?
Something like the AVT needs to exist, new players or people joining the wipe late need something to create a somewhat competitive environment especially mid to late wipe. Maybe only make it available 1 or 2 months into a wipe.
No, there have always been plenty of decent options for joining a wipe late, not to mention that every gun in the game has the potential to 1 tap anyone with a well placed shot. Late wipe timmy doesn't need a cheap broken gun that outclasses the highest tier and most expensive guns in the game. That just doesn't make sense.

@@vitrioleco4849 There happens to be one in this video but when was the last time you saw someone running an Altyn, or any face shield for that matter, they suck and they're not worth deafening yourself over so nobody uses them, in general you'll be one tapping everybody you come across.
@@vitrioleco4849 Also the Mosin uses the exact same ammo as the SVT, and it used to fulfill the role that the SVT plays now, only it was much better balanced. Now there is no point in ever even using it anymore.

I own svt-40 irl and it's really hard to fire without malfunctions😂 too picky for the ammo and needs constant adjusting to shoot it reliably w/o issues.
Funny they made AVT-40 that darn good, cos irl in WW2 soviets told to AVT-40 users avoid using full auto, because it was too stressfull for the gun to handle😅 everyone who has handled one of these would understand it wouldnt last long with full auto.

Boss can actually be at dorms/stronghold/new gas again. It's fixed since the streamer tournament.

You should use the heavy bleed bandages from Peacekeeper, they only have 1 second use time, and I think they are also cheaper than the rubber band, especially if you buy them from fence. Buy the SSD drives or SAS drives from the flea, they cost less in Roubles than the USD you get for selling them to Peacekeeper. Those 2 seconds will save ur life, and the bandages are cheaper so there is no downside.

I've always liked guns like the AVT and SVT being in the game. If people think this thing is broken, they will hate shotguns when the armor plate system comes out. Also, here's the thing: the only way you can balance guns like this is to remove them from the game. Equalizers in Tarkov, like the Mosin, are by design, unbalanced.
They make it so that you're not always at the top of the food chain no matter what you do, and that's a good thing. If you put them on higher trader levels they become worthless because there are better alternatives with more options like many of the other guns in the game.

It's hands down my favorite sniper. I just love the feeling of using a very old rifle but still being able to compete with some of the chads using the newest and most modded weapons.
fr. U dont even get sights or attachments on it. Any more recoil and itd just be unusable by anyone
Also I've personally shot a mosin carbine. The recoil isn't that bad on it... it's more of a push back then up actually. Like after putting about 80-90 rounds through one I had a sore shoulder but could still aim and do fast cycles just fine.
The thing is this gun seems like it's built more for recoil management, then a mosin, so it actually seems fairly accurate...
It was a good addition to the game and I hope it stays...
I think it maybe just needs a little more recoil, or they should buff the PKM/P to make it better

One important thing to note: Shturman's guards CAN spawn with an M1A, I've seen them with a loud M1A with 10 round mags and the 1-8x tan scope.

4:43 No I wouldn't imagine that because I've never come across a FPS with less recoil than EFT. Which is something that always makes me laugh when people talk about how hardcore the game is or how realistic it is. Your character "controls" all the recoil a gun would have and you shoot bullets in completely straight lines. This game is fun but completely unrealistic.

One could say that a fully automatic Mosin is broken, then again you are limited to iron sights and small mags, so you need careful aim and high sense of map knowledge/awareness to not be at a disadvantage
Tbf, even a guy with a fully kitted M4 will die if he's unaware of potential ambushes etc.
18:36 you know you could check top right screen for packetloss at the beginning of the raid to check for bosses.
