Man, I miss In Living Color! My nightshirt when I was about 7 years old featured Homey D. Clown. It used to belong to my, at the time stepfather, but I liked the show so much that he gave it to me.

Before any of the skits started, a Amazon Prime commercial came on with a throwback early ‘80s vibe reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean … I think. It had all the look and feel of being a SNL skit just like these. It seemed to good to be a coincidence. Weird

it's a play on words. Genuflection... means to bend the knee. Although, some folks see the phrase "bend the knee" as being forced to submit (as in Game of Thrones)... make of that as you will.
