Was there ever any doubt what somg would be No1... Miami Vice opened with one of the most refreshing ways to create a series. Style and class with a whole array of hits. I could have spent years more watching Miami Vice. My heart actually sunk when this series was over. We all watched some top performers make appearances in this show. Phil Collins , and of course how could ever forget Smuggler's Blues... Sheena Easton and many more.
Don Johnson and Phillip Micheal Thomas were pure performers that worked well on the screen together. And Jimmy Smits shortest role in history. Sorry if I have misspelled some of the names.

Well I'm a step-mother and grandmother, I want to say THANK YOU to this magnificentprogram and the life it gave to me, and the other souls of my generation. My kids willalways believe that I've been wonky from birth; it will surprise the current world that we, the Babes of the 80's like the choice women of "Miami Vice," wore size 6's,slid around in bikinis that defied the city code, danced all night in fabulously glitterylycra mini dresses to awesome tunes, drank enough wine to sterilize the Seine, lovedvery fiercely, and lived each day like it was our last . Our guys, now in their 50's and 60's were just as buff, as GQ, as gallant, virile, dashing and as athletically gifted as ourheart throbs on MV . Yes, we're on social security now, but (and it can be born outby watching a few episodes of Miami Vice,) our generation burned with a fire thathad never been seen before and has never been seen again. C.H.

What I loved about Miami Vice was how the director of every episode made sure the songs matched the emotion of the scenes they were placed in (although that may have been at Michael Mann's insistence). Thank you for including "Long Way to Go". A great ending to a truly heartbreaking episode.
