- Some of the finest Ferrari Testarossa scenes from Miami Vice TV series was used in tihs movie. Hope you would like it ;)
Thanks to Miami Vice 80's crew for filming this awesome TV series, and also thanks to Tommy Shaw for creating such a good song called Dangerous Game! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
80s decade has all: good cars, good music and beautiful natural girls. Miss those times.
You pointed it
@@MrMerc300se That's probably why Miami Vice was so popular then :-)
Dont forget the Karate Chops!
And yeyo
Also a lot of cocaine...
Why does 80s Miami seem like a never ending vacation
miami in the 80's was a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind..
This is why Miami Vice can never be recreated today. A white Ferrari Testarossa, the clothes, the style, the music and the atmosphere. The 80s at it´s best. So don´t even try.
Every decade had its own spirit.
This validates further the point Don Johnson made during an interview. Miami vice was unique for that specific time and place (the 80s).
To this day its still one of the coolest looking ferraris made.
Miami Vice made me realize that Ferrari cars did come in other colors than red. I so, so loved this Testarossa.
The introduction of ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC CARS EVER SEEN ON TV!!!!!!!!
The 80's ... where the music, the men and the cars were REAL!
and the women!
Women were too. Not drama queens!!
@@darrenthompson8608 100% agreed!
@@VanTemplar thank you sir !!!
IT'S TRUE!!!
Seeing that Testarossa back in the 80's must've been like watching a UFO landing. It has such a radical and gorgeous design even by today's standards, I can only imagine just how incredibly stunning it must've seemed 30 years ago.
I thoroughly viewed an '87 Rosso Corsa Testarossa for the first time recently. After DECADES of looking at it in various media forms, it was mind blowing how remarkably small and low to the ground the car is. I am 6FT tall and the roof line barely went past my hips. Its a small car.
Today your every day run of the mill sports car offered one of the 4 colors it every other car has less creativity now adays less risk taking designs yet car enthusiasts will be drooling over the newest lamborghini looks if you wanted a 80s sports car like this with the performance of a new car you have to pay big bucks now lets say you had that then then well the answer it quite simple.
hexagon523 concept of flat twelve was genius (Berlinetta Boxer ) .and very rare (i had a 400i long time ago a 2+2 with 12 cyljnder but IN V....NOT FLAT)
It was exactly like that, and its still my dream cars all these later!
hexagon523 Please, people had already seen the Lamborghini Countach for a full 10 years before the Testarossa and the Countach turned way more heads and still does. Even people who know nothing about cars recognize a Countach.
One of the most 80's cars that ever existed
I actually saw one. Once. Red.
It's wider than you'd think. Like 40cm more than my Lolvo :)
+ The DeLorean!
A design masterpiece by Pininfarina looks better than any new car on sale today!
Young people of the 80s - you damn lucky bastards...
Yep... what I would’ve given to be young back then and not now
We need that Delorean time machine to get back...
Monster Sabre True, although unfortunately we’d keep ageing lol
You'd be old now though and probably have sinus problems :)
@@Glurbschnurb I'm young and I had it. I don't mind the 80s, bring it on baby!
4:51- My first car: 1985 Ford Escort L. Two-tone black and gray. It came with Alpine radio in it. I found a cassette under the seat with "In The Air Tonight" tonight on it! I still have it.

Back when you still had to be a badass to drive a V12 Ferrari with no airbags, a 5 speed MANUAL transmission, gated shifter, and no launch, traction, or stability control. Nowadays a great grandmother can drive a Ferrari easily.
You Got that right.
Yep exactly!
I was BLESSED to live and experience those days...
Yup
Lucky you
So much style and coolness was only possible in the 80s :) The music was better, the cars were better....everything!!!
yes man...absolutely right !
and of course the Amiga 500 ;)
RonTaboga and the women were hotter not a single tattoo on them
This would be written about in blogs today as an example of "toxic masculinity".
Coke were better ;)
This car still looks utterly fantastic more than three decades later. Stunning!
That car will ...never be forgotten...
Dream car of my youth. The White Ferrari Testarossa from Miami Vice. Ohh yeeaaahhhh, what a time!!!!
Great car, great serie, great SONG, 80'S FANTASTIC .
THIS IS IT. THIS IS THE CLIP THAT I ALWAYS HAVE IMAGINED IN MY HEAD WHEN I THINK ABOUT CLASSIC FERRARIS AND CRUISING DOWN MIAMI BEACH. A TRUE MAN'S CAR.
Y8R indeed man me too , the costumes, cars , hairstyles , palmtrees , music . Everything bro
When you realize that you made it in life.
Not trying to rain on anyone's parade because I totally agree, but once you get to Miami Beach you realize traffic is so bad now you basically just sit there. There's a lot of cool cars floating around but they all go no where fast.
@@darrellhart8129 I believe he's thinking of the '80's
I don't care if its happy times of 1986 or the sad times of 2020. You could be Fred Flintstone, but behind the wheel of this Ferrari Testarossa you'll look studly to the ladies just like Sonny Crockett!

Love that put this video to Tommy Shaw's
*"Dangerous Game."*
Perfect song for it...
LOVE the Testarossa!
The best decade of the 20th century.
It got worse and worse each decade after the 80s. The world we're all living in is deep shit comparing to these golden years.
The 80s in miami look so cool
These guys are still chasing me around in Vice City. Legends never die.
Love this video and song, it takes me back to the '80, when I was a teenager and watched Miami Vice on television 😊😊
I swear the 80s look like they were so damn cool 🔥
I disagree. If you had driven a frickin Ferrari Testarossa in 80’s, you probably would 'be so damn cool' in 2019 also...
OBServe Garage I was born in 85 and just feel I missed the sweet spot of culture pre 95 the worlds gotten angry and serious 😩

Yep, that and the Countach.
JohnACorp782 Why would you say that? The Corvette has been around since 1953, wayy before any of these cars were around. However it was inspired by some of the older Italian sports cars.

Can't believe that these two are in their 70s now. My, how much time has passed. Awesome car though, will always be one of my favorites.

White Testarossa and Sunny , Miami Vice, and amazing Music!!!!
I am a 2000s kid though 80s specially miami vice and stuff like that are nostalgic for me😂😂
*Die hard fan of this golden era of America*
I was born in 1993. Yes, a millennial. But there's something about the 80s and it's magic that always appealed to me. It's a kind of cheesy-and-I-know-it kinda cool that no one could pull off anymore. I'm so curious about this phenomenal era and I want to learn all about it.
90's were good too. But, nothing beat the 80's, I thoroughly enjoyed the decade as a teenager.
Avalanche 7 I feel you! :D
Buy something from the 80's. (I was born in 80's) It need not be a house or a car... something.
@@heikkimoilanen5975 That's a very good idea, I should collect more items from the 80s! I have a couple of old mint tints and coca-cola ad items. I think authentic clothing items would be nice too.

These times were epic, God I miss those moments.. we had it good then...

Coolest car of the 80s
Ahhhh, 80's music to my ears, very nostalgic!
80's ❤
Gated shifters, turbo lags, pop up headlights, no botoxes, hardly any silicone implants, 80s was really the decade to live in as young.
Back in the day when pedestrian safety wasn't a thing 😍😍
The most beautiful car ever built. And to me, also the only car that looks the best in white.
I grew up watching nash bridges with my dad as a kid but now im watching miami vice cause my dad would approve rip pops
I'm born in 1994, I don't know why I love the 80s soo much, any explanations?
Réincarnation!
Here in Europe, it was a quiet and safe time. I mean crime was and will be everywhere, unfortunately. But referring to culture, the music and tv were full of quality. Today I got the feeling, that is all about the "turbocapitalism and greed with less quality. Often to the disadvantage to the middleclass/workingclass. These time were simple fair for the people.
But, hey, its just my opinion.
@@NickKnatterton. just like mine
This car is stunning😍
I always loved it and although the typical ferrari-colour is red, the MV-White-Version fits so much better in my opinion. Dream car😎
Only one actual Testarossa was used on the show for close ups and interior/ non action shots. Any chase sequences they used a Pantera that had been kitted out to look like the Testarossa. Because Ferrari had given it for free they didn’t want to risk damaging it. You can see in this video at 3:39 to 3:47 the front of the car is slightly different, looks more pointed and there is a distinct black line where the bonnet meets the front end, almost like the bonnet isn’t closed. That was the replica stunt car.
Craig Odlin yeah looks like smaller front end, used the real one quite a bit tho
They used two genuine Testarossa for pretty much all of the normal driving and quite a lot of the stunt work.
The Pantera based car is easily spotted by its very deeply dished and very shiny, chrome wheels and a raised ride height over the real Testarossa that had silver painted alloy wheels with knock on hubs.
The handbrake turn which is included in the later opening credits from "Everybodys in showbiz" (S3E23) is clearly the Pantera but in "Down for the count Part 2" (S313) the real Testarossa is spun through 180 degrees. I remember watching it and thinking that even for them, that was brave.
Most of the chases, Stones War, Blood and Roses, Freefall etc feature the real Testarossa.
Good country , good cars , good music ...
The one car I cannot live without.
Heaven is Sharon Stone, Testarossa and the 80s in the air!
Life was so simple then. 😎
Yup

Holy shit, right? What the fuck. Technology has fucked us in. We're stuck.
Fake Fake what you talkin about sure people was more real but most if not all changed with the times not staying true to the spirit of the 80s or themselves just like the so called hippies of the 60s 70s all just playing along with the times being phony.

Its interesting to see the lay of the land and to see how much changed since then i started living in Miami shortly after the series ended for many years
I graduated high school in '84. Even then I knew the 80s were cool, but man oh man; they seem even cooler now. I miss the 80s. I miss my youth. But with that said, life is still pretty amazing!

@@FordHoard Yeah, it might not be morally wrong to live in the past; but you are doing yourself a disservice if you do so.

I LoVe this!!!! :-) Cheers from Poland guys!
I saw the premier of Miami Vice when it first aired back in the 80's. The city has always been my "shining city on the hill" ever since (even though it's definitely not a "hill"). I had never been there in all the decades that have now come to pass...until this past February when I finally drove down there during a trip to Florida. I drove all over that city and found many Miami Vice filming spots (the South Florida Filming Locations website has done EXTENSIVE research on these sites). After all these years I can say the city still managed to exceed my expectations. It was every bit as cool as I hoped it would be. It has its tough areas. It has its problems too. But it was where Miami Vice was filmed. So it's hallowed ground to me. It was so cool. I visited Bayside (where Crockett's sailboat was usually moored), the Atlantis building (the one with the hole in the middle), drove past several of the houses including Charlie Glide's (also seen in Golden Triangle plus was used for the interior shots of Frank Lopez's house in Scarface) and the one in The Great McCarthy, I saw the seaplane base featured in the pilot episode and One Way Ticket, I saw the Carlyle Hotel first seen in the first Miami scene of the pilot episode, and I also drove past a number of other sites. I had lunch at Joe's Stone Crab too which was good (although I liked the shrimp more than the famous crab). Miami is like Mecca for Miami Vice fans...every one should go there at least once in their lives.
