Awesome fight, but can we please not put spoilers in the title? It takes all the tension out of watching the fight

@@ps7717 nobody is criticizing the show - it’s great. In fact, we’re saying it’s SO good that we don’t want the ending spoiled before we get the chance to enjoy it as it’s intended to be seen by the creators of the show. The videos posted by the BattleBots YT channel don’t do this

Really? I thought they were going to dominate using their ice cube dispenser.
I thought their crisper drawer would make the difference.
They should just do away with the kill saws in the floor. They never "kill" anything but they, or their slots, mess up plenty of good runs where a bot is getting trucked by the other bot.
Live by the fork, die by the fork.
If a builder doesn't want their forks to get stuck in the killsaw slots they should make them wide enough so they don't fall in.
This was a driving clinic but I agree with the comments let’s not spoil the fight before even clicking on it.
Back in high school I was a member of my schools robotics team, I was the driver of our robot for competitions and Jameson was the driver for his team. Each team competed in an “alliance” with 2 other robots. His team specialized in defense and he did such an incredible job controlling the enemy teams offensive weapons. Literally pinned them down so they couldn’t move for minutes on end while my team and the other alliance member worked our offense. We ended up winning a regional competition together and got to go to a national competition because of it. Such a great memory, great guy too.
the hammerblade control on sawblaze was really impressive.
"Overtime". In a match like this one, I wish we could have had more time on the clock for an extended battle.
Blip had a good run was seeded against better team. With the advancement of weapons hopefully will have better bot next season

Sawblaze finally gets a win against a flipper
Blip flipping sawblaze. More like blip gets flipped.
Blip needs to extend their flipper down to the floor for easier scooping and flipping.
It wouldn't matter. The first hit from sawblaze's weapon destroyed a speed controller inside Blip, killing the flipper.
Somebody needs to get even take him out of the picture entirely
Good fight; terrible video title. Hammer-saw aside, Sawblaze would've dominated anyway, as it just had the better combination of drivetrain / driving / wedge.
That said, there are still basically two kinds of bots: Bots that try to bring a weapon to the opponent, and bots that try to bring an opponent to the weapon. The first strategy is almost always more successful.
Please don't give away who won the fight in the title.

Sawblaze is the most balanced offense/defense bot I’ve ever seen. The combination of control, ability to absorb hits, and deliver surgical strikes is unprecedented. Many bots can do one or two of those better than Sawblaze, but none can do all three as well. Sawblaze is a cross between Skorpios and Tantrum, with the strengths of both and none of the weaknesses.

The title for the video REMOVES ALL ANTICIPATION! It's a complete SPOILER!!! I assume you must have a High School intern coming up with the titles, but maybe a grown-up should check their work. Just a suggestion.

Did someone say Blip was a flipper? Or did Blip not know there's a flipper as a weapon? The driving wasn't The Worst ever.
One of the early hits from SawBlaze smacked the flywheel of Blip instantly shutting it down and leaving the robot unable to flip
@@walteringle What an unfortunate design issue. Or was this a 'feature'? Well, on a slightly different topic, I saw some highlight reel showing a bot stood up, vertically, on it's completely flat back-edge. I saw this in the early 2000's Battlebots (where Ziggo was a favorite) and I've seen it over more recently. What an oversight by the designer - "You don't have a spare 2" bolt to run across the back somewhere?!!" Design flaws.. boy... gotta love 'em or hate 'em!

After seeing Sawblaze cook the competition with its control, the last fight he shouldn’t have been allowed to use the configurations that he did. Huge won the first half of the fight then the modifications and control structures kicked in
What exactly about those modifications were unreasonable? They were nowhere near as outlandish as Hydra’s modifications. Banning such modifications would basically allow Huge to walk to the Giant Nut. Huge is so unusual the other bots have no choice but to make such modifications. Huge ended up in the final VS the only other bot that had the necessary reach to beat it. It was a nice change of pace from all of the compact spinners. Those modifications gave Huge the opportunity to deliver many big shots, but the exposed belts ultimately did him in. I expect a design change in that area next year.
SPOILERS (But why did you click replies if you didn't want any?)
These modifications were completely fair. In fact, if it weren't for that hit that cut the chains, Huge probably would've knocked out Sawblaze. The modification to smother huge is a great one, and still requires very active input from the weapon, not to mention Sawblaze was still getting thrown around. Also, the modifications did not "kick in". Sawblaze rammed their face into Huge until they finally got a pin and destroyed half of the weapon system. The modifications were bashed into the wall until they worked. Configurations for the opponent are usual and these modifications were reasonable and it was still a very close and fun fight
Sawblaze did nothing wrong. Sometimes you have no choice but to use a configuration to win a fight. And it still had its primary weapon
Of all the configurations to pick on, Sawblaze's one from the final is not the one. If anything, I'd think you would be complaining about Hydra's cowcatcher attachment from their fight with Huge.
