    I remember visiting one of my friends, where he cover his furnitures, TV remote, dining table with plastic. I personally think, everything we purchased to make use of and enjoy. We only live once and we can not take it with us when we leave this world. In my opinion we should live without regret and wear rolex freely without any worry. Otherwise there are alternatives, g-shock or knock-off rolex. Unless you going to protect the knock-off version as well?

      You're not wrong! There is a watch for every occasion but I know some people that really don't like seeing scuffs or marks on their watch. These are the same people that can't stand a micro scratch on their car! Thanks for watching

    I don't own an expensive watch, just a unique watch and I was looking for a way to prevent the face from getting scratched. I came across your video and feel bad that so many people left not-nice comments. You were trying to help.

    These are actually great though I only got the clasp protection for my sd 43. Can't even see unless you are looking extremely close . Normal wear can't see it at all. Seems expensive but once see how precise can see why not cheap..a bit of a pain to get on so small precise pieces but totally worth it.

    Personally, I just prefer watches with brushed finishes because I like the way they look, and they're less likely to pick up scratches. I think this is a smart idea, though.

    • @ClickyBezel
      @ClickyBezel  Před rokem

      For tool watches, I agree, a brushed finished is the way to go. For something with a high polish bit like my Pepsi, it's nice to have! Thanks for watching!

      I have 18K gold bracelet my mother in law gave to me. I worry about scratching it, so I bought a knock-off fake gold bracelet that I wear. I also have Rolex watch that I worry about robbery, so I bought a knock-off one to wear daily. I have a beautiful wife, but I worry about wear and tear, So, I meet older and practice with girlfriend on the side.

    I dont know how i never heard of watch shells buf they dont have GS

    How is it when you remove the films? would it be dirty and stuff or it is like new brand watch? thank you for your answer.

    • @ClickyBezel
      @ClickyBezel  Před rokem

      I’ve recently lifted off the films from the sides of the case and it looks brand new again. The reason why I took them off was because it wasn’t fitting 100% so I was concerned with the parts that weren’t covered to be scratched. I’d rather have the part of the watch be searched evenly rather than in spots it wasn’t covering if that makes sense haha. I still have it on the clasp however since it gets the most wear for me. Hope this helps!

    Are the shells just like what the AD removes?

    • @ClickyBezel
      @ClickyBezel  Před rokem

      Great question! Not quite. The ones that come from the factory aren’t as elastic and are prone to scratching from my experience. They are also easily peeled off after a few wears unless you’re very careful operating your watch. The watch shells are elastic and almost rubber like. So if you were to try and put a surface scratch on them deliberately, you can easily get rid of it by rubbing it off. Thanks for watching!

    No, just no. Apart from this whole weird concept of protecting the watch (keep it in the box then!), there are gaps between different sheets of plastic. Now imagine wearing it for a year, not two weeks, and you'll have perfectly scratched gaps and unscratched metal under the plastic. This is just simply ridiculous.

      Haha! I agree. I have no issues wearing my watches but knowing that I can use my watch the same way daily and come out with less scratches on the original finish is a plus! But nowadays, with thefts going around in the city, I am more afraid of getting mugged than putting on some surface wear. Thanks a lot for watching and your thoughts!
