Hey Scott, I purchased 2 Rouge 6.0 after seeing your vid. I've had them about 1 year now. I also had Veto xl and lc bags. I agree these bags are just as good but with better organization. Mine have held up great. I use dolly when I can due to weight. We tool geeks tend to overfill bags.😉. Thanks for your vids. God bless. Stay safe!
Great videos as always. I’m using the velocity 3.0 open tote bag for gas work here in the U.K. it’s fantastic to hold all my hand tools, blow torch, drills and various other bit for the job in hand.have a look at them as a secondary bag if you don’t need so much for a certain job.good luck and stay safe 👍🏽
Scott, you're original video was one of 2 videos that helped me make my choice to buy this bag. Thank you so much. You're thorough and descriptive in your reviews and I really appreciate that. I would definitely side with you on this one. I've had mine for about 6 months and I can't seem to find a better bag. I've probably spent $1000 dollars looking for other bags (Milwaukee, Veto etc) and keep coming back to this because it's so good (quality and organization). Keep up the great vídeos!
Great video! People find the stupidest things to be tribal about. When I see a bag like Veto (I hate mine for a myriad of reasons. I call it my MC the boat anchor) or a Velocity I have never thought that someone didn’t work for a living, but I did know that they work by the hour not by the job. 😜
I just got the Tech XL from Veto. I like the layout of this velocity bag, especially the administrative pocket and the center so that a M12 won't take up space on either side. Also Scott thanks for turning me on to the Ty Rap Totes in your tool bag reviews. Not sure how I did A/V work before having them.
Aussie plumber here. In my opinion this is the ultimate service bag for many trades. I contacted Velocity in the UK and they said they could ship it to the land down under but it would cost a lot. Was going to be like a $500 investment (bag, shipping and insurance). I wasn't sure that I wanted to spend five hundred bucks on a tool bag no matter how good it was. Anyhow I've bought a Veto Pro Pac Tech Pac back pack (try saying that fast 100 times after a few beers), and although it's a quality product, it's simply too awkward to hoist it up and onto my shoulders with 27.3 kgs (60 lbs) in it. So I'm now using a shoulder strap and carrying it by my side. So if you're listening Velocity Pro Gear, please hurry to find an Aussie distributor and bring it to market.
First of all. Scott you da man! Not sure if you remember me I'm a fellow A/V contractor also. I have 4 veto bags. I'm a big veto fan but I remain open to new info and new products. Your previous reviews were on point. I clean my tools too even my rotary hammers. Good tools will last and I am complete agreement with much that you stated. Thank you for the GREAT REVIEW. On another note... I wanted a backpack but did not buy the Veto backpack because the way it was designed did not suit my needs. That does not mean the veto was a bad bag it just didn't suit what I needed it for. I ended up buying the Klein camo. Im glad has competition brings out the best in people and companies. I see the Velocity backpack in my future. Im thankful for your efforts and wanted you to know i appreciate your reviews. Thanks again.
Thank You Sir! I appreciate your input very much. Let me know what you think when you get the Velocity backpack in your hands. I’m sure you’ll love it. Be well my friend!
I really like the center for a laptop. I just bought the PropacLT a couple months ago. I like it and have no complaints but that bag looks like it'd definitely suit my needs. I may have given it a shot had I seen this.
Velocity rogue 9 is the best most robust bag I have ever used , still no probs after 2 years of really getting knocked about . Velocity was started by tradesmen and uses tradesmen to help design their bags
Hi Scott, thanks for the great review! I currently use the Klein Ultimate Electricians tool bag and I’m looking at the Rogue 6 as an upgrade. Would you be able to tell me the dimensions of the large centre pocket, how long, wide and deep? Thanks so much!
I have this bag love it, after a little getting used to it's size, but less about that where did you buy that ziptie bag? a UK link would be amazing 👍👍
Strange I noticed on the velocity website I’ve seen two different versions on this bag one with one front pocket and one with two does anyone know the difference?
Most low voltage powered screwdrivers are slow. Two reasons, less power and slow for precision screwing. I worked for Hilti and the tool selling industry for close to 10 years. If you like small powered screwdrivers look at the Bosch, Skil or even Worx. They are all very capable.
D. Knibb- right! I’ve had the Dremel equivalent to the Bosch, very capable, lots of torque. It was lacking an LED, so I switched to the craftsman 4v. Still on the fence about it.
@@scottstoolthoughts3190 I just found out about the Bosch Go 2 today. Im going to buy it this week. It's definitely way better looking than the original Bosch Go
I Purchased the Rogue 4.0 model of this bag after watching your original video. I also have Veto but they do not make a bag with a Center compartment with two zip down side compartments. I carry a rugged laptop for work and the center compartment is perfect for that and some cables. All my other tools and meters, adapters etc. go in the side compartments. Veto does make a bag with laptop pockets but not to fit my laptop or carry as much. The Velocity Was very expensive but is of equal if not superior quality to the Veto.

Excellent bag's, I got the Rogue 4.0 and the PB 6.5.

great review
Appreciate the review & ignore the haters is rule no.1 of the internet
That bag looks badass!
Thank you sir! It’s a good one.
Thanks for the followup.
I love my Veto Tech XL but this Velocity looks really nice aswell, might try one when the Veto eventually wears out.
Im thinking same, but my veto xl just wont die 🤣
@@Thompson-from-Finland it's been two years since I wrote that, my Veto still looks brand new :)

Sorry My Friend, I no longer have that bag. Reach out to DB Telecom’s channel. He has the bag now. Good Luck!

Sorry My Friend, I have no idea where to get them in the UK. Amazon has them. It’s called a Ty Rap Tote.

How do you still liking your Rogue 6.0
How do you like the craftsman 4v screwdriver? I'm worried that it's slow. I love my 12v but like you I want a lighter option.
It is a bit slow, but I don’t need it to be fast. It has decent torque, and the LED is bright and well positioned.

Right on, My friend!
Looking at the Veto Tech MCT or The Velocity Rouge 4.0.... not sure which one to get.
My vote is the Rogue 4.0!
@@scottstoolthoughts3190 any issues with the delivery from The UK?
None whatsoever. Go to the website, select USD as the currency, and they ship it right to your door.
@@scottstoolthoughts3190 Thanks!!
My pleasure Sir!
So where do you put the kitchen sink? lol
Right??!
I'm going to find a small sink and place it in my bag. Lol
Get it from Amazon?
Nope. Direct from velocity-progear.com
@@scottstoolthoughts3190 I noticed the currency is set to pounds until you change it to US dollar. Is there any issues with shipping?
I have no experience with either of those bags... now about that jeeps headlights.
What about them, My Friend?
Yeah I noticed those cool headlights too! My 18 year old would say they are Fire! (That mean really cool.)
