    Thanks for that❤. Surprising how many different things you can cram into a bag like that.

    Nice one....Get yourself a small battery pump and a 1 metre ext hose , comes in very handy for pumping out flooded EV’s obviously use it for topping up pressure in them / pumping water out of pipes if you have to do a repair and of course you can use it for pumping your car tyres up.....once you get one you will wonder how you managed without it....👍
    cheers mate

      @@advancedboilertraining I would recommend it too.. all the major power tool brands do them. DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita etc.. all part of their same battery range. So if you have Makita tools like me you can get the bare unit and use the same LXT batteries.. (DMP180z)

    Nice one. Thanks for the upload. Good to see what you use for service and breakdowns day to day. Much appreciated. BTW which van do you have. ? Thanks

    Great kit and thanks for the upload. What made you get the velocity 5.0 backpack instead of the velocity 4.5 or the veto variants? And any chance we can see your other tool bags/kits?

      Hey, I was looking for a new bag but the main thing that sold me on the 5.0 was the fact that I could attach my pump to the side of the bag (and the price). 90% of the time when I do a repair on a boiler I charge the vessel as it's always flat. I was fed up of always carrying in my pump. With this bag, my pump is always ready to go. I also like the layout of the bag. The only downside of this bag I've found is it is quite wide when on your back when the pump is attached. A few times I've accidentally scratched a wall with the bag on my back. But now before I walk through the front door I just carry it in my hand.
      And sure, I'll get a video up next week on all my tools

      @@advancedboilertraining Hey, thanks for the response and the informative videos. Appreciate the information and your reasons for going with this particular bag. Looking forward to the video about your other tools 🤙.

    Why you carry so many old boilers in the van 😅

  • @rodknee87

    Looks like you've got main pump sorted, but you can get the regin mini hand pump. I was tired of carrying big pump so now mini one is always in tool bag. Takes x3 as long to pump a vessel, but it be easier when in tight spots getting to awkward vessels!

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  Před 3 lety

      Yeah I've heard some good things about the mini pump but the main thing that sold me on this bag was the fact that I could attach my pump to the side. I refuse to not use the big pump now lol 😭

    • @advancedboilertraining
      @advancedboilertraining  Před 3 lety

      I'll still probably end up buying the mini one and keeping in the van somewhere

      I got mine from a shop called FC Boiler Spares but if you type "flow turbine socket baxi" online, I'm pretty sure you'll find one

      Na still just use the bike pump that’s shown in this video. I like to carry as little as possible when going to a job. My bag set up allows me just to take my bag in most of the time (plus parts)

    How can you make a video right off the bat saying you take your wee pack in for a p/p only…..then 2 mins later say you take your foot pump in for 90% of your repairs - 😅😅😅😅
