Yup the unilite goes directly into a USB port. I have the same little unit on my beanie hat and high viz vest. Unilite have some amazing products. I have the 4.0 side bag 5.0 backpack and the 6.0 side bag. I'll probably treat myself to the 9.0 service bag as it looks pretty decent. Maybe I'm just being greedy 😉. Great review. Have you not thought of putting a storage tube bin on the side. I guess you could store little odds and sods in there. It's also intended to hold the unilite thermos or any other thermos . 👍

Velocity do make some nice bags. I use their Rogue 2.0 service bag for a couple of my set ups but I didn't find the build quality was quite as good as some of the other makes.

Lovely looking bag I’ve never used one. I only use the Stanley rucksack I’ve never really got on well with them. Barr if I work in London testing then I would use a rucksack.

Hi will yeah not a fan if that stanley one at all. I bought one to have a ganders at. Foubd the pockets to be floppy and everythibg fell out, and at the same time if you put something in one row it stopped you using the row above. I had the klein bag at the same time as it and the quality just wasnt comparible, but then neither was the price i guess

Does the hard base dig into your back? the smaller veto back pack does and is this reason I’m looking for an alternative

I love these bags. But find myself using my Veto Tech Pac MC blackout backpack far more often. It had more pockets. Probably wouldn’t recommend Veto if you aren’t looking to spend a little extra. It’s well worth it though!

I use the vetos on a day to day basis big fan but this is a very nice cheap alternative if you can’t stretch to veto

Strap a stick of pvc in it and make it storage for zip ties, screw drivers etc

How does the size compare to the veto tech pac mc? That's Veto smaller back pack.

Hi mate its more the size of the techpac mc the smaller one. The rogue 5 is the bigger one of a simular size to the techpac

  • @dywerscollapsedpocket3465

Just not a fan of the side strap. Don't see the need for it, which it was replaced with a few pockets

No mate big tablet maybe. You would need the rogue 5.0 for that
