Real user experience as opposed to a salesman. Great review. How do you store and tote your power tools. I need my drill, impact, or rotary hammer every week.

"More durable" ? Not my primary reason to like this bag. For me it's the center storage section. Veto is great stuff but they have a "stiff panel" in the middle. So...maybe two stiff panels with a space between could work? I'm no design expert...

Thank you sir! I do believe they make a backpack, but I’ve no idea how durable it is. After living with this bag for over a month now, I’m still very happy with it. After some research, it’s not quite as thickly built as a Veto. They use a 1680 denier ballistic nylon, whereas Veto uses 1800. So, CLOSE, but not exact. I’m still a fan of Veto though, but even though this bag is just a bit thinner material, the layout, for me, is perfect. And the fact that it’s built very nearly to Veto standards, it’s way better than most other bags out there. Thanks for watching!

Right off the bat it takes forever to open up cause of the straps, simplicity is key. You want something to make your job easy. I love looking at new bags and tools and trying them out but of course I see reviews first. I’ve own all kinds of bags until the vetos came out. So this bag is not a veto killer.

My friend has this exact one and I do very much do like it. Have never had a Veto and in no way do I have any comments in relation to the Veto bags. However, it has to be said, this particular brand is impressive in relation to its price. There def appear to be a lot of comments in defence of Veto but even not having sampled the Veto, this bag by velocity is suited for my needs and being a family man it's far more a better buy financially.

Please leave details about the Veto Killing!
Which Veto did you switch from and is there actually enough open space for all of the things that the Veto seems to forget we need to carry?
I am itching to pull the trigger on one of these too but am still not quite sure.
It looks to me like the back 2 compartments might not be that useful compared to how much weight they add to the bag,am I wrong?

I just can not decide if it makes sense for me to go bigger or try to make 2 smaller more practical to carry bags work?

I’m glad you like the bag! They do get heavy. I’ve found the weakness in it, though. The strap is not holding up well. I do have it overloaded, nearly 60 pounds. The rest of the bag is still in excellent condition. I may buy a veto strap for it.

I always see videos on CZcams tho and when I go to try things myself I don’t have the tools required to do so, recently I have been using a box from a tool I bought on amazon, as my tool box, I duct taped the whole thing and put the few tools I have, inside the box , I am not trying to say I’m a charity case but I definitely would consider myself a little less fortunate than you. I was wondering if maybe you would be interested in getting rid of some of your old tools and stuff you no longer use, and I can put it all to great use. I would love to inherit tools from a guy like you. I would love to have a place to put my tools, maybe a bag like your old veto...

    @avservice314 Před 5 lety +4

Thanks for the Review of this bag and for the initial one as well!
I still can not really understand just how this is a "Veto Killer" to you though?
I agree that the Veto bags are really not optimized for the trades involving Electrical including ours and my issue is that there is never any real good space for Cordless and parts or much of anything aside from Hand Tools.
The only real exception to this seems to be the huge honkin bag that you carried with the entire side just an open space to do with what I want?
So this Velocity bag seems to have the Hand Tool Side for sure and the big open compartment to fill with Parts and Cordless and even the Beavertail on the G=Front to stick a Fish Tape in and maybe cables and flashers that I am about to install or a Sawzall or whatever!
But then the back 2 pockets seem completely underwhelming to me at the same time?
The Admin section offers almost no storage at all unless I just do not understand the design and the next pocket is similar to me,it seems the big pocket is for a computer maybe but then what is the rearmost protected shell about exactly?
Anyway it seems like they designed an almost perfect bag for me but dropped the ball on the back too?
I also never see you load the center section to get an idea of how much it holds?
    Thanks again though!
    Ed
