    Great Review Scott, the 2 points you have pointed out have now been addressed and anyone needing a replacement strap can contact us directly. The d-ring issue has also been revised and the webbing is now tighter to stop any twist. Thanks again.

      Why dont you guys also put a tougher handle like the veto pro pacs.... that would make this bag perfect.

      I just stumbled across this video review. Really happy to see the manufacturer step up and quickly address your issues so that new customers can benefit as well! Good job!

    for keeping the dee rings from moving... do like you did with the tape holder ( HOT DRILL BIT ) and put 2 binding posts or chicago screws under the dee ring.. would look cleaner then the tarp clips.. NICE BAG!! and digging the power screwdriver..Can't beat the KNIPEX!!! Thanks for sharing!!

    So I just thought that I would post here that I got the new 4.0 bag Today and have been trying to get it loaded up all night! It is smaller than the 6.0 and I already can not lift it really so I am glad that I passed on the big one for sure! On the other hand it might be too small too and I am just kidding myself about being able to carry what I need to in a single bag?I posted a few pics of the bag loaded on the Velocity FB page,it arrived here in 4 days somehow too!?
    Amazing!

    So i use the 5.11 heavy duty straps on ALL my tol bags, they are comfortable and will not wear at ALL, up to 200 lbs plus, unquestioned in comfort and strength! They are on Amazon and 5.11 etc. Twice the build strength of veto straps!

    Thanks for the update on the Velocity bag. Im a A/V tech too. I love tools and often i try to find a reason to buy new tools when i already have enough. I3m eyeing the backpack but i dont have a real reason to purchase! I have 3 Veto bags, a CLC and th e Klein backpack. My Klein is only for basic jobs or service calls. One tool i recently used and was very happy with it. Have you tried the (Jameson Wee buddy) fiberglass fish tape. Its 50' and i used for fishing an insulated wall. Its flexible and sturdy enough to fish without breaking the paper on the insulation. Case is really sturdy. I normally use my go to snakes either a BES 10' or LSD 15' YFT FIBERsnake for snaking wires. One last thing you are so right my TECH XL and My XL have to be about 50 to 60 lbs. They are still holding up. Im glad veto has competition.

    Had a rogue 6 changed to veto tech XL. I now have rouge 4. But still prefer veto MC . It's easier to carry
    I fix automated machinery and so move a lot

    I have the same bag. I love it and it’s very durable. Customer service is great as I had the same problem with the strap. My only complaint after nearly a year is that even empty it’s pretty heavy. I’d now buy the smaller version but that wasn’t out when I made my purchase. I also have a couple of veto bags and I can’t see an difference in quality so I’d say buy whichever bag you like best.

      You’re spot on, my friend! The small one wasn’t available when I bought mine either. I think I might buy the smaller one and downsize a bit, because my current bag is extremely heavy. I think it’s up around 60 pounds now.

    Thanks for the Update,I am still on the fence over the weight mostly.
    I want to see how you got to 60lbs really though?
    I would LOVE to see what you have in the center of the bag!!!!!
    The Center is what makes this different than any Veto Bag but......
    You have teased it but never shown what fits in the center?
    Thanks Again!

    When it comes to shoulder straps I prefer the extra padded Husky, it's way better than the Veto straps, you should look them up.

    You should make a video and make review of your tools !!!

    Contact velocity on Instagram/twitter they'll sort the strap out for you. Bags heavy empty I've had one for 18mths. Too big for a domestic heating and plumbing guy for servicing. Now use it as a install bag

    do you think veto or velo will be making rolling bags?

    • @uniquesoundsolutions
      @uniquesoundsolutions Před 4 lety +1

      Im hoping so but they will be costly. My veto bags are pretty heavy (50 lbs) so i strap them to a small portable handtruck. The kind that are foldable with rubber wheels. Works well and saves my back.

    • @scottstoolthoughts3190
      @scottstoolthoughts3190  Před 4 lety +1

      I agree. If they did, I’m sure the cost would be prohibitive.
