"Custodes? Hardly knew her!" My fave comment so far.
I do like me some mechs.
Waiter, there is estrogen in my testosterone soup! :D
Just kidding, no skin off my nose. Not playing Custodes, nor do I know any Custodes players /shrug
I think House Esher was a comparatively big seller in Necromunda. I do have some of the old Imperial Guard female models back when they were metal (the Catachan one looks so much like Vasquez from Aliens)
Since you're knowledgeable in ESG matters, maybe you can shed some light on something I've been wondering about. I don't know too much about it, but basically it is a means of combining more ethics-based investment with the idea that a company that fulfils certain criteria will also be better suited to tackle future challenges and be profitable in the long term. My impression is: Companies that try to up their ESG rating by focussing on the social aspect are basically trying to game the system. I dont know how governance reporting is done, but I imagine it's harder than fulfilling inclusivity standards and improving your environmental rating will probably have more tangible costs than putting a pride flag in your logo. Is there any data on companies that try to improve their ESG rating through social measures alone compared to companies that try to do so by increasing all three ratings?
Very interesting point about only focusing on one dimension vs all 3. I donât have any data sources on this and my own experience has only been with companies who do not distinguish or cherry pick but go all in.
Measurement is indeed hard but in our case, we rely on external 3rd parties to verify everything we do to ensure we make no false claims, green wash or otherwise fail audit.

As someone who is possitive about Femtodes is damn shame that we weren't given a Femtodes model alongside the reveal. GW revealed the info as they always do but without the model or upgrade screw, like at least give us the model of the Custodes mentioned in the Codex shotstory.
Imo this is a move that was long overdue, female Stormcasts sell very well and they probably did this to sell more of the Female Stormcasts Heads upgrade kit. GW is lazy and greedy as always.
bringing this topic back into the limelight, / retconning for female custodes is nothing wrong, you can definitely argue that its been hamfisted in. I just think that this is for a publicity stunt, warhammer 40k already includes an entire faction / branch of the imperium of all females. and the sisters of silence. and the dark eldar wyches. , etc. I really dislike the way this has beeen announced, as well as not really thinking about females in the setting.
lore writers being lazy , adding female custodes, when they could have written probably hundreds of variations of any story that really highlights a female faction (or individual females like eldar or inquisition ) and expand on existing lore, but instead they just wanted a headline. there is no way this was NOT a calculated move, it was 100% GW's intention to cause this drama, reasons we'll never know, might be lazy lore writers, virtue signaling, pressure from fans, who knoows
*GW* CURRENTLY đš đ©Â§ucks at Rules writing (HH 30K 2.0 notwithstanding)
(God đ I miss đ Alan Blighe & HH 1.0 Heresy era gaming....he ran rings around the Game Designers of today)
This is something Fulgrim would ask Fabius Bile to make
interesting perspective, almost makes me forgive GW for AOS, i still think it was handled horribly. I think most people are upset about Femtodes because such nonsense often comes with bad writing, we dont want the series to be bad (3body was good but STD, ROP, MavelComics etc are disasters). 'ESG increasing success' needs a source, many industries rely on loans and if you just stop finance non ESG projects its clear what the result will be.
there were female space marines in 1st edition?
No they were prototype for sisters of battle but GW was trying to make the rouge trader's a bit spicy with there xenos and outlaw companion that may or may not be sexualy involved with them... But the first art work of a woman in power armor I have seen is a nun in power armor shooting a rainbow marine and in canon rainbow marines have been declared as renegade and delt with by sisters of battle back then space marines were just soldiers in power armor like sisters of battle so there wasn't even gen seed stuff going on and people sometimes mistake them for female space marine or just celebratly trying to gaslight people.
@@secondson4680 the rainbow warriors are still loyalists x.x
@@epiccthulu "STILL" well they have been declared renegade like lamenter so? I don't remember saying they were like gone or they have turned traitor UWU.
Yes but they didn't sell so were discontinued.
@@secondson4680 the lamenters were on a penitent crusade, and that ended in a short story that came out a few days ago. Valrak covered it
funny that gw for the longest time was doing fine with only neckbeards-.-
the push for woke wide audience didnt go well for star wars or doc who so far ^^ or halo or star trek or D&D/MTG
