Amarendra baahubali (father) is more muscular and has long wavy hair with neat beard. Meanwhile, Mahendra baahubali or Shivu(son) have more lean physique with abs and curly hair.The son baahubali just inherited the super strength and power from his father.If you notice carefully, you could see some differences between their looks ✌️✌️Hope this helps you guys 😁

This is the most ive seen someone struggle to understand bahubali its funny af lol
Guys the confusion is caused mainly bcz u didnt focused on subtitles in some specific important scenes in the first movie...when watching a foreign film u must read the subtitle very carefully...the subtitle doesn't show the full emotion and explanation like audio they only comes straight to the point...this also happens to me when i watch some korean films..
Next time if u didnt catch some scene just rewind the subtitle...else it can spoil the whole movie experience..

Amarendra Bahubali (OG)/ His step mom - queen mother Sivagami/Step bro- Bhallaldeva
So OG Bahubali married devsena and had a son (MAHENDRA BAHUBALI) who looked exactly like him
Sivagami is present day Bahubali (Mahendra's) grandmother who basically sacrificed herself in the beginning of part 1 to save him from whatever you saw towards the end of part 2.
Sivagami's other evil son (king bhallaldeva) wanted to marry devsena too but basically couldn't handle her rejection and upon killing his stepbrother Bahubali took her as a prisoner for 25 years until OG and her son Mahendra Bahubali came back to rescue her. That's when he realises his true identity. (Part 1)
Part 2 of the movie is more like a prequel to part 1.
Shivgami devi is not mother of Bahubali. The mum dies as soon as she gives birth to ahemrehrnadra Bahubali.
Devasneha is the wife of ahemrehrnadra Bahubali.
And the son of devsehana and ahemrehrnadra Bahubali is Mahindra Bahubali . The one Bootle baby🐥😂

There are 2 character of Bahubali..one is son and another is Grand son....
Baby is the grand son when bahubali was killed...grand mother saved the baby holding on flowing water..and she also died..she was playing all the time her charater with his son...Part one was totaly grand son playing all the time who was grown up by village people down below water fall..and he didnt knew he was sone of King bahubali
his father and grand mother were killed same time...that story is explained in Part 2 who was his Father Amrendra Bahubali and how he was politicaly killled by his brother..
