- Somehow, someway we have managed to film 100 episodes of this show. It happened so fast that I almost didn't notice that the magic number was rapidly approaching. When I did, though, I made plans to celebrate it the best way I knew how-with you guys! You all made this possible. This channel doesn't work without you watching and sharing the information and fun that David Newbern, Mike Cotten and I get to have on a regular basis.
You guys rock and I want to you to know it so we are gonna have a party on Friday May 8, 2020 @ 8pm EST. During a livestream event right here on this channel I'm going to be giving away Miller Welders auto-darkening helmets, gloves--even a new Multimatic® 220 AC/DC multiprocess welder! All you have to do to get a shot at winning is answer trivia questions correctly. The questions will come directly from information presented in Episodes 9, 49, 65 and 86 of Finnegan's Garage. We'll also ask other random questions so that you can win some Finnegan Speed and Marine swag and memorabilia.
Every time I tell you it's time to win something you respond with the correct answer in the comment section and the first person with the right answer wins! It's super easy and we are gonna have a blast. In addition to the trivia we'll be answering your most-asked questions, too.
If you like the Holley 12-147 fuel pump featured in this video you can find more info at:
www.holley.com/products/fuel_...
Thanks to Miller Welders for supporting us from the beginning. The Multimatic® 220 AC/DC multiprocess welder can be found at
www.millerwelds.com/equipment...
Thanks for 100 episodes of great comments and memories! See ya next Friday.

Mike is such a professional, he shows and explains whatever he is working on. I always seem to learn something every time I watch. He conveys a feeling to the viewer which you feel you are there with him and his crew.
I love it when your home life happens mid filming! It shows that you are a real person with a real life and family:)
with unreal speed parts tho...
Haha, :)) Well of course Finn is a real person and not some kind ok computer simulation.
@@cezardacia1szf Or maybe he IS a simulation OR we are ALL in a simulation?!
@@Posibrian maybe the simulation is just a simulation?
@@FinnegansGarage Hey Mike, I need help finding a rear end for my 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
It's our only way of going, I'm not asking for money.. just some help finding one. I'm located in the Cedartown/Rockmart, Ga area. I know you have a lot of resources. Just wanted to see if you could help me out. I am the only one working in my household and don't have a way to go looking for the rear end
I love this dude. He is just so zen. Nothing rattles him and he just keeps rolling.
A CZcams star and a Dad, life couldn't get any better for you.
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
I'm actually impressed that you used machinist measuring tools to make a prop for those long tig runs. I've been doing it for years. I passed it a long to a select few over the years. Never seen anybody else do it before until now. It's a life saver on those long ac runs. You can go until your glove starts smoking.
That’s one lucky kid! Can you imagine having Fin as your dad? He’ll have the sweetest ride in the high school parking lot for sure.
100% honesty don’t care about the welder would love to own it however I just truly enjoy Watching all the episodes thank you very much Mike and David and listening to your daughter was hilarious
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the support.
Just goes to show everyone, you are a real life kind of guy when your kids come and ask you questions. You are truly blessed to be able to work from home, even in times like these!!
I couldn't be luckier. :)
With this lockdown going on and working remotely, watching these vids really makes it the best day of work ever.
Love the interruptions! Thats real life right there!
And thanks for leaving the interruptions from the kids in the video. This makes this real!
Tony Ozimek I like how he just says “bye” like he knows it’s dad time right now and he will be back in a few 😂
Your kids coming down while filming is great. Just another dad working in the garage.
Good gob man
Awesome episode. I'm glad you left the bit with the kids in. HILARIOUS!
Father of the year for keeping your cool!
Honestly your one of the only real mechanics on tv anymore. Watching your show reminds me of working with my best mechanic friend dan who looks, talks, acts just like you. Same dry sense of humor too. Lol Gotta get a pic of you guys together one day. Keep up the vids I love watching someone else’s struggles.
It is awesome, a real dad doing his thing. I love that you don't edit that out! Thank you for being real.
Mike, I have loved all of your teams antics and work. Keep it going sir, many of us are living vicariously through y'all! Looking forward to the next video.
Happy to watch you taking care of your c10 in every video. Thank you for your time till today. Happy to be with you in CZcams. Thank you.
Handled that "kiderruption" perfectly! Looking forward to the trivia night next week.
That jig is GNARLY for running long straight lines!
These welders are amazing! I have an almost 5 year old unit (seems hard to believe but I think it's been that long) with the pelican protection case. It's been incredible for farm duty and the light fabrication jobs. Granted I dont strike many stick arcs with it (the engine drive Ranger takes the brute for those jobs), or hook up a tig torch as much as I should (there just isnt many farm projects that really deserve a steady hand and sharpened tungsten), but its mig and flux core capabilities are truly impressive. The duty cycle isnt too long, but for such a small unit it really packs a punch!
The kids are a nice added touch, I like that. Good show.
Finnie, you rock man. Thanks for making shelter in place semi- bearable
Love millers products. Trailblazer 325 efi, 12rc suitcase, dynasty 200, a miller 150 older then me still running like a champ. The're the backbone of my business can always trust them to work.
Congrats on 100. Each one more entertaining as the last. Keep on keepin' on.
This is one of my favourite channels. The honesty, dry humour, and fabrication classes are great. Finnegan isn't condescending, is self deprecating and his pals that hang out on the show are equally cool. It's like hanging out with your buddies but one of them also happens to be your favourite shop class teacher haha!! Thanks for the awesome content, folks!
Thank you mike for providing great videos that we all can learn from.
Nice work Finn. Doing right by everyone. Thanks for all your videos
I love it.. Mom!!!. You know I'll never win. It took me a day just to get to this new episode. I'm still working 60-65hrs. Lol. Well someone's gonna love it. 👍👍👍👍
Love all the how to stuff, keep it up, I fully support the car acquiring habit you have. And the fact that you unapologetically bring your best buds into the crazy mix with you.
Former Marine and now a night shift Paramedic at an ER. Trying to put my ‘88 Wrangler and ‘75 Scout II XLC together with lots of mods on my occasional days off. Would be much easier if I had a new welder 🤔. Love your channel and vids. Been watching and learning since roadkill. Thanks and keep it up 👍
I will be there! Also, kids in the background looking for mom...priceless! I like real way better than over-produced anyways.
After watching the last time you gave a welder away, I honestly cannot wait to see another deserving individual win a welder and work on their project, the more projects that get on the road the better the auto and even the motorcycle community will be
Hands down best car show on the web, vtuned, goonzquad, deboss are right behind you. Finn you dont need motor trend, motor trend NEEDS you! Motor trend has been total crap since discovery bought them..
Honestly the motor trend channel isn't worth the $5.29 and u guys are what made the channel
Ryan McWilliams if they don’t start releasing the originals, Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Hot Rod Garage...I’m cancelling. I don’t care for the stupid reality car shows...Bitchin Kindig or whatever it’s called, Jumkyard Empire, Texas Metal. Garbage!
Does anyone else have a hell of a time navigating that app or is it just my TV?
@@devinwilkison6799 nah, it sucks...
It's definitely not just your TV
That welder is sick. I love the background narrative that's happening. Mom sneaks away from the kids for a quick bathroom interlude while Dad makes his show in the garage. Meanwhile in the garage we hear prison etiquette flushing happening while the kids get noisier looking for good ol mom. No rest for the weary. Mom where's the lasagna?!?! 😂😭🍻
Man that would be a sick welder i could finally help out all my friends and family with there projects as i am the only welder/fabricator they know and me being laid off that would make my day cause im so bored
I love it when your kids interrupt - I have 3 kids myself, and it's super relatable!
Thanks Mike :)
always nice to see you Finnegan. Like a fun friend you want to hang with.
I wish there was more giving people out there like that is great have fun in life build what you can from scratch what people dont want a lot of time is treasures in our backyard shops
I really dig that C1O your building.
Lots of really badass parts on there
This just proves that all legit fuel pump installations require zip ties.
Tell me about it! I had to replace one under my BMW and it was a nightmare, broke the old mount and had to use zipties to keep the pump in place - after two years it's still there. A temporary permanent solution XD.
@@EuroRhodes Yeah, poor design combined with corrosion means it's often the way to go. The new radiator in my wife's 2007 vw has also been held in with zip ties for around 2 years!
First you get two slices of bread, then you throw those bad boys in the toaster. While they toast, you grab yourself some butter and a slice of cheese. Pull them thangs out the toaster, slap some butter on em and put that cheese right between the both of em. Throw it all in the microwave and bada bing bada boom. You got yourself some grilled cheese without using the stove
Man that c10 is coming out kick ass! Ive been following your build since like 3 years ago when you first got the truck back i actually loved the truck so much i decided to sell my 1981 el camino and to go out and buy a 72 c10 custom deluxe and currently have the truck off the frame getting ready to shorten c notch and have powdercoated then do my own coilover suspension! I appreciate your videos they've really given me alot of ideas for my truck and how im gonna be doing my suspension
I'm so excited to have changed from our cable to satellite, now I can watch your show ! Thank you !
I don't type fast, and I work, but I do like that welder! Good luck to all.
You should have the kids build something with you. A drift big wheel or something. That would be a good episode !
Haha real life kids hollering Newbern laughing at you as you try not to lose it on camera! Mike this makes your videos more fun to watch. Home in your element (probably wishing you were doing burnouts etc) still trying to get work done, while trying to keep your sanity.😁
Love the kiddos! Real world! No fake no filler
Congrats on the success of the channel so far. Looking forward to future vids. Love the in depth process and attention to detail.
I just got out of the military and chose to go to welding school because Finnegan is one if my biggest idols. I dont care about him giving away a welder, I just want him to know that. Thanks for doing what you do brotha and sharing it with all of us!
That is a slick fuel pump. Love the welder.
Love the content man, learned a lot from watching, about to take some of those tips you have and apply them to building up my 94 Cobra. Keep up the great work man, Cheers.
Awww Jeeezzz now I have to go back and rewatch every episode and take notes...
Another great infomercial Mr Finnegan.
Thank you , showing the story behind the scenes is the best I would have liked to see more of the inside of your fuel cell how the fuel stays under that massive pump your the best
Thanks for the video.
Kids first, your the man!
ALL Mopar here, love the hemi in the 55’, soo cool!! Love you show!! Hey love to see more of the jet boat!!
My favorite show. I could never answer first I have one stoned three legged squirrel internet speed and I type like an old hippie. Looking forward to watching this. Thank you.
at least you accept your limitations :D
BEST comment on You Tube today.
I initially watched just to see how to win the welder, but the fuel cell rebuild was genuinely fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
Kids are awesome!! Nicely played sir.
That Holley pump setup is pure genius!!!
You are the best giving the opportunity for someone to realise is dream ! I would certainly love this machine since I dont have one ! Thanks !
Newberns shirt is cool, Fun whilst Malfunctioning.
Also, listening to you talk about the Miller from the 4 minute mark onwards was cool. sounds like it would make it easy as, I like that everything stays plugged in and it auto senses everything. Keep up the good work.
Congrats on the 100th episode! Love this channel and the content you bring!
that an awesome givaway ive been watching forever ...
Thank goodness! Your getting better with the thumbnails pictures! It’s making me want to watch the videos more and more now.
And that welder looks amazing..
This is all great, exciting stuff! Guess I've got a few episodes to watch and take notes on.
I hope, when you get the C10 finished, that you give us plenty of content with it. I am so looking forward to seeing it run and drive!!!
Learned a lot from you and I keep learning!!! Keep it up!!!
I just started my first job 6 months ago and have been needing to buy a Tig welder as the shop will no get on for me. I love the show and I am very excited to see how the c-10 works out keep up with the great videos! Love the channel!
Thanks for all the information you have shared. Nice tips!
100 already! Congrats dude! Shop looks clean and streamlined
The power of blue. Would love to finally get my own Miller welder. Great channel, great videos, and great insight. Keep up the good work.
Congrats on the big 100! It's been one hell of a journey, and there's so much more to go!
I want to tell you I'd give a welder a good home. I've used the one I have for less than 2 hours this entire year
I’m super excited for a chance at this! It would open up tons of possibilities for my 69 Camaro and for the next hundred builds to come!
That is a nice machine, I love that its machine that will be capable for multiple projects and as i get better at welding i won't outgrow it.
I have an ESAB 205ic and Miller 220. ESAB has this great feature that Miller doesn't . The ESAB ,at the time of its own choosing, will lock up and do nothing requiring a power cycle. I've seen other ESAB's do it as well. I feel the Miller is a much more thought out machine. Menus, documentation... it just all feels and works better in my opinion. Whom ever wins that machine is going to be very pleased with it.
If i had a welder i could finally customize my 85 gmc shortbed the way i have always wanted too...man that'd be a blessing more than a prize to me. Good luck everybody
Oh WOW! that Miller welder would be great in helping me work on my car and other shop projects...once I learn how to TiG weld that is and that machine looks like it would babysit me in learning how to do just that. Lol!
Good Luck everyone!
Oh man I was watching SEMA video on Hoonigan and seen the new Miller welders , someone’s mind will be blown away man , 100% , I’m looking at welders now , the one I looked at is like $4,700 .. damn ! That’s a lot for the guy who just picked up a Logan lathe for $675 with tooling 🤙🏻 Crazy how they automatically know the settings and everything is already ready to go ..a Damn, my shyt lags .. how about like the 7th person 😀
Sweet welder. Miller really makes nice welders.
You the man bro been here literally since you started this channel. Keep up the great work.
Pretty awesome! I finally got back to work this week.
Love it here, the best motor show on CZcams
"Best day at work (home?) ever."
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
That will be epic. Keep up the good work.
So a ziptied flange with a cork gasket on a homemade fuel cell......this seems perfectly fine!
Looking forward to the live stream tonight. Even if I don't win, your vids always teach me something as well as being funny and entertaining.
nice to know I'm not the only one wishing I could see my friends
Great show, my stepdaughter watches with me and always says we need to build something together, she really likes Game Over... She says it looks like the best adrenaline rush you could ever get.. p.s. I miss welding my own fabrication projects, that welder would be nice to teach my girl with...lol keep up the great work.
Well dang to bad I work nights and won't be able to partake in this awesomeness. Well unless I take a extended rest room break.
Cool channel. Had a grate time watching you on roadkill bad ass. Love watching new mods on your truck sweet. Keep it up bro keep going. Need that welder got some projects.
The 8th? Sounds like a birthday present for me! Kidding of course, but I've been saving for a tig for months and this would be a heck of a benefit. Good luck to the rest of you
Draguar was my favorite episode of roadkill. The Time you got stranded with the new box truck was pretty neat too.
Dang, I can't believe you've got 100 episodes in the book so far. Congratulations!
i like to watch videos where a mistake or i forgot to do always follows with a chuckle then fix what needs fixed and yes a new welder would look real nice in the spot where old one once lived
A live trivia give-away is genius!
Didn't know down south was talking in litres. Be careful fuel will get to four times the price. I've got four projects on the go but just got a replacement tig to continue with the progress. A '47, '55 for the little girl and a '96 for the wife which has been all over the house for four years. (Her truck not her FYI). Enjoy watching the life, might get there sum day.lol
Love your channel Mike and congrats on the 100th show. Loved your one on welding stainless headers. I used work for Stahl Headers for a few years back in the early eighties and man has header building come a long way. By the way about when tomorrow is the show. I looked for a time but did not see anything.
Sorry just seen the time at 12 Noon
Friday May 8th is my 10th anniversary and we were supposed to be on a cruise around Italy/Greece. I wish I could be there to enter, but we're going to try to do something fun for the anniversary. Enjoyed the video, good job Mike!
