In Oregon and sw Washington we have a place called Burgerville. Everything is sourced local. All meat, milk, bread etc. Delicious

Thirty years ago I had a friend who had worked as a cattle buyer said that White castle consistently bought the best quality cattle at every sale that he was at.
I heard the same thing from their delivery drivers.
I had Wendy's yesterday. It was so good and the bacon really looks and tastes like bacon.
~ Is that in the U.S. because here in Canada they changed their meat patties a few years back. Since then, I've tried their burgers on three different occasions and I literally threw up everytime! I tried asking them about this but they refuse to reply.

Burger King is NOT flame broiled at the stores anymore. Heck, that's not even legal in California. No sir. The good BKs are long gone.

I live in the southern Adirondacks: the only chain you mention, that I know, is Wendy's. The other problem is, your documenyary needs clear breaks between the chains reviewed, instead of running-on without a pause, so we don't even know right away that you are talking about another chain.

One thing I can say about Wisconsin burger places u will get quality beef. Solly’s Grille, Sobelman’s, Kopps and many other places in the Milwaukee area.
My home made open faced burger sitting on a thick slice hearty grilled Texas toast with home made mashed potatoes covered in gravy beats any restaurants burger any day .
After this video, showing that Burger Fi does not use antibiotic beef, I will try them today. They have been here for a few years, thanks.
Wendy's has always been a great, fresh burger for a fast food place. BTW, I miss their super saladbar....it was a great value!
Wendy's is much worse now than it used to be. Back when it had Salad Bars, it had great Chicken Sandwiches too. Now you can barely get a decent Chicken Sandwich anywhere.

Wendy's is still ok in my area. The owners seem to have cut amount of workers but remaining staff and food quality is still good.
The hamburgers look beautiful, in this video. They don't look like this in the restaurants. TO ME WENDY'S HAS THE BEST BURGER.
I live in New Mexico and have only heard of one of these chains, Wendy's. Fortunately we have a few local burger chains/restaurants with great burgers; Blakes, Laguna Burger, and Burger Boy.

Get a griddle, find a carneceria that grinds it's own beef,or a butcher, and make your own. I do, and my burgers are famous.

Wendy's, In N Out and The Habit are the closest to me.
Shake Shack is there but it's a 40 minute drive to the closest one lol
I live in a metro area of over 500k and we only have 2 of the 11 chains in our area. I've been fortunate to eat at a few others in my travels but 5 of these are brand new to me. I'm just wondering how these particular 11 were selected?

The only place I have heard of or is around me is Wendy’s and believe me they are not the way they used to be-not by a long shot. I’m old enough to remember when Wendy’s first came out and they were delicious. Not now. Plus, they really have gone up in price the past couple years.

Every fast food prices have gone up. I work at McDonalds and I see the hike in prices and it’s only gonna get worse here in Maryland when the minimum wage hits $15.00/hr.

Main burger I eat at McD are the small cheap burgers. A grandkid ordered a 1/4 pounder with cheese and when I handed to her the burger wasn't any bigger than the small burgers.
I eat at McD's I get ill. Really. Haven't been there in years.

The only chain from this video that I've ever seen is Wendy's. Grotesquely overpriced, the stupidest employees of any fast food chain, filthy bathrooms, bad atmosphere. The only good thing they make is chili. I would never ever go there without a coupon, and the odds are that their moronic employee wouldn't get my order right even with a coupon.
Lol, Wendy's chili is made from burgers that didn't sell! 2 of my kids worked there as teens and used to make it.

Wendy's and The Habit Grill are the only two in my town and surrounding towns within a five hour drive. Guess two is better than none if and when in the mood for a junk highly processed burger.Good to know.

15 years ago we moved from the SF area to the midwest, and there were no In N Out places. We discovered Five Guys and for years has been our go-to hamburger joint. Last fall my daughter and I took a trip back to Calif and made a stop at an In N Out. Boy, we were surprised in that it just didn't live up to our memories. Two days after returning home, I was enjoying a Five Guys again. They tasted great!
Half I have never heard of! We have a Wendy’s near us but rarely go to it. Not that we have one, but how does Wahlberger’s stack up? Their grocery store version is pretty good. I haven’t seen them in our stores lately though. My husband has done a good job grilling them at home. The times we were able to find them in the store anyway.
Most Publix stores carry them.

~ This is total crap when it comes to Wendy's! I would say this is true for their original patties but not their new processed ones. They changed their patties about four years ago here in Canada. I used to love their burgers and they were my favorite fast food outlet but shortly after Dave passed on, the corporate suits started to make changes. First it was their fries, then their buns which made me feel a bit nauseous. Then for a short time, they started using "pretzel buns." I only had one of those and after smelling it, I almost threw up! It smelled like a wet dog's ass.
Next, they changed their beef paties and everytime I've eaten one of their burgers with the new patties(only three times now), I literally have gotten sick afterwards. 🤮 I tried contacting them three times to ask what is in their meat patties now that could be making me sick but they refuse to answer me. 🇨🇦
MacD's has made me sick for years. Could be anything. Fillers,oils.

The only 2 places that I have seen near me are Wendy's & Culvers. I used to eat at Wendy's but the store near me closed 3 years ago. I haven't eaten at Culvers yet. I just watched a guy review a Mooyah burger & he said it was the worst burger he had ever tasted. He didn't even finish his first bite, he spit it out & threw it away.
Whatabuirger, if they continued the practice under the new owners, run their own cattle feed lots so the beef is controlled from hoof to burger.

The regional fast food chain "Dairy Cheer" marketed itself as "Home of the Smashburger" all the way back in the 1970s, years before the fast food chain "Smashburger" ever existed. Is this a copyright infringement?

I frequently eat breakfast at Mc Donald's, but NEVER eat anything else there. I also like Wendy's breakfast baconator. Most calories come from fat, not carbs.
I hate to admit it, but I agree. Micky's breakfast is still pretty tasty. Even with the powdered scrambled eggs, the cheap sausage and the sugary pancakes. It's cheap and it tastes pretty good (with enough salt) - so I still get them. I know they are unhealthy, but - whatever. I don't eat them too often.
Ahhh, the sausage mc-griddle is second to none.
The Habit is easily the best fast food burger joint. I'm in Santa Clara, CA and have easy access to The Habit, Five Guys, In-n-Out, Wendy's, Burger King and McDonalds. The Habit is the best of the group. Five Guys and In-n-Out are second place with the others being a distant third place.
It used to be, The Habit is garbage since they sold out to KFC/Taco Bell. Patties taste just like mcdonalds. Locations near you may be better, but I doubt for long.

Until more confirmation comes regarding distribuitors of ground beef, I no longer eat out - period. Only one that I have seen and read about has somewhat substantial sipporting evidence of reasons to be more thsn concerned. It is not on this list. There are several others with less supporting evidence to be concerned by, though nothing more than word-of-mouth unlike the first. They also are not on this list. There may be very good reasons that they are not on this list.
Upon learning of these very major concerns several years back, I stopped eating out completely. I once picked up breakfast at one of these places on the regular. If ever these concerns are completely substantiated and confirmed publicly, I honestly don't know how many of us are going to live with ourselves. Obviously, if true, it wouldnt be the fault of the majority but just the notion or idea in mind that we could have unknowingly been subjected to participation is sufficient to make anyone cringe in horror.
And don't forget thst it isn't just ground beef. HEK-293 is used in many of our food products ostensibly for "flavor enhancement".
If you research, be sure to read beyond the lying, narrative-controlling, "fact checkers" who will obviously say this is not true. It is in fact true and can easily be confirmed.
The story about what is done to our food is a deep and dark rabbit hole. The only way to ensure that what you consume is safe is to research and learn of all the good and bads. This puts every one of us in a very precarious position in many ways. That you can believe.

The meat is bought from feed lots, it's every type of cow/steer/bull that is sent to the auction. There is no such thing as 100% Angus beef! Thats all a marketing brand. Angus beef is actually the worst beef when compared to Charolais, Herford or Limousin. When you buy "Angus" beef at the grocery store, you are just buying beef from the feed lot.

I like Wendys, but they changed their fries long, long ago, then changed to their soda machines that always suck, so now don't go nowhere near as much... and liked those new ghost fries (sauce), but now they got rid of that, too, their regular fries taste like dirt.

I have been to a lot of burger joints over the years...but there are only two I consider eating here in Canada....1 is A&W burgers....always a great burger....and the West Coast based White Spot burgers...every ohter burger pretty much sucks......from too dry to too greasy.
Canadian beef is better than US beef, because the cattle growers cannot use the artificial growth hormones. They do in the USA.

I'm sorry, Wendy's is a lie. Their beef doesn't even TASTE high quality. I also used to drive an 18 wheeler with a reefer trailer and delivered to Wendy's distribution centers and when I delivered, it was hard as a rock frozen. So I know from personal first hand experience that Wendy's beef is frozen before and at the time of delivery to their district centers .
