  • When it comes to fast food, there are several chains that are easy to come by, no matter which part of the U.S. you’re in - McDonald’s, Burger King, and Popeye’s can all be found on highway exits across the country. But some fast food chains can only be found in specific parts of America.
Different regions are known for different cuisines, so of course their fast food chains are going to reflect that. The next time you’re traveling through each state, be sure to stop at one of these chains, because there’s no telling when you’ll come across it again. These are the absolute best regional fast food chains in every state.

You should've used Jacks to represent Alabama as they are more popular and according to Google Milo's has only 20 locations which is a massive difference to over 200 Jack's locations and comparing the menu's online Milo's menu is just oversimplified burgers and chicken nuggets. But Jack's actually has traditional Alabama food and a bigger menu with lots of different choices some more simple like a BLT, or more traditional like a Fried Green Tomato sandwich

I think Michigan could've been better represented by Jet's Pizza. They were the first to franchise "Detroit" style pizza long before it went national. Even though it isn't "fast food", Black Rock is another. Cooking your own food on a 700 degree pre heated rock is fun. And delicious.
California? How does one miss on Fatburger? Ice Cube wrote a rap about it. It's the go to late night crave?
Ohio? Frickers could definitely be up there. Best chicken items, including their wings and chunks. And their blue cheese side is as good as any.
Indiana? Steak and Shake. David Letterman had one built right next to the Ed Sullivan Theatre in Manhattan just so he could get his Steakburger fix.

Wish they'd get on with construction, though, the land has been cleared for over a year now (All that is there is a 'coming soon' sigh and a larger grass field that is becoming overgrown now), and the "coming soon" sign for them and ANOTHER favorite vendor of mine) has actually been fading for almost a year... I'm tired of having to pick up Jersey Mikes when leaving my office over 20 miles away from my home when there could be one just a couple of miles by...
