Wow your round robin piece is so beautiful and so special with all of your friends working on it. I really love your Carolyn Manning piece & that is very different from which she normally does with her charts. I taught myself crocheting 50 years ago and I have never made anything for myself to wear either. I love your cardigan and I also love the color yarn you choice for it. 🧶!! I love cross stitch the most, but i can definitely appreciate how the love of other crafts fits in. I may someday pick up knitting again, but I'm too in love with cross stitch right now to make that kind of time. I love all your projects...thanks for sharing!

Bangs look great! I started crocheting when I was in high school, then as an adult discovered cross stitch. Still crochet, I have like 5 blankets on the go, lol. 🧶Good to see you again! Lovely update! Happy Stitching! Happy Crocheting! 😁

Your crochet cardigan is going to be amazing, love the pink color 🧶. Megan mentioned Manning May so I bought my first Carolyn Manning chart: The Bumblebee Bouquet. It's so cute with flowers and bees. 🧶🧶🧶 For me, cross stitching was a craft I went back to. 😊 I mostly knitted, did some crochet and picked up cross stitch again when I broke fingers and hurt my left hand which made knitting very difficult and painful. I already have a stash! Have a great time away.

🪀this is the closest thing I could find to a ball of yarn! I don’t think my emojis include it. But it’s four in the morning so that could be it. There were two particular cross stitch charts I loved but I’ll have to go to your website to remember them! I crocheted in Girl Scouts way back in the day and really want to get back intp it.

Interested in hiw you made that bag out of a tote bag. That's awesome. I have a lot of cute totes and woukd like the drawstring version better. Fellow swiftie here ❤
Thank you! As far as the tote bag, I just cut out the part I wanted, sewed fabric to both sides, and then used my regular drawstring bag pattern to finish it out with the new dimensions! Super easy and I'll definitely be doing it again!

I am sorry I will miss you at Stitch-Con this year. My retreat buddy is moving that particular two weeks from one state to another so. I went out to see her in March and spent time with her then we did our own kind of stitch retreat. If things go well, we will get to a retreat in September.
So I’m doing Manning May I finished a Carolyn Manning. I did the quilt series the garden maze. It is so beautiful love the colors and I started bountiful blooms. I didn’t realize you were doing that one, but we are now kind of doing it together. It’s the stitch I leave at my trailer so on the weekends when I go there, I have Cross Stitch already there. I don’t have to remember to bring some . Never fails. I’ll get all the pieces to the piece and the floss. Aaarrrggghhhh
CROCHET Women’s Wear is very HOT this summer …hopefully for a while into other seasons…..Yours is Smashing…..for this 73 Year Old Happy Ager I too am picking up my crochet hook to start with a “simple”shoulder bag…..after a good 30 years….hopefully simple in quotes haha…You are a Delight and your bangs look amazing….have Fun with one of the best communities on social media…..

So good to see you. I crochet & I wish more people would think of crochet in garments (clothing) instead of the awful 'granny square' thingie. Of course, knitting DOES drape better but with the right tension & yarn, you can do wonderful things with crochet. Sizzle on dear one (& yes, love the bangs' return). Have fun at retreat.

It was great! I'm hoping to get one of my projects to a point where I've got a lot of fill in so I can take some stitching to work on! We just don't have table space for my stitching setup and my dnd stuff right now so I need something with no pattern lol!
