Great recap and stitchy progress! It is so fun to see you and the girlies together and to watch all of your flosstube recaps. Your friendship is so precious. It's awesome you were able to let go of WIPGO as it wasn't serving you how you wanted. I have a hard time letting go of commitments. 🌞
I went back and forth on letting it go for a long time, I also share that struggle and I still feel a little guilty for it! But I know it's what's best in the long run for me, so I'm trying to hold on to that!

@@TheMuseumStitcher we did, but thankfully the experience of a jetlagged toddler is over with because it was a rough few days. Stitch con was worth it though

Two thoughts
Maybe sew a decorative wide ribbon around your Sarah Moon. You could use it for a picture border.
Get buttons that say Texstitch to hand out at retreats.

Thank you! I'm definitely going to add some fabric to the edges for lacing and for getting projects on my hoop, but I plan on framing it pretty close to the stitching since I like that look, so I shouldn't need an extra fabric border! I appreciate the suggestions though!

☀️ Congrats on your first sock!! Toe up socks are my personal favorite, I always have a pair on the needles. I make a pair for each of my sisters each year for their birthdays.
I've got at least 3 more balls of yarn I've purchased to make socks, so I'm looking forward to making some more once I get these finished and blocked! It's kind of addicting!

Re: post plane troubles. Try wearing earplanes ear plugs on the plane during takeoff and an hour before landing. (Basically any time you’re not up to cruising altitude.) I get altitude sensitivity EVERY time I fly, and these are the only things that stop it. They’re like $15 and will change your life!! I also take generic Flonase the day before and of my flight to help the sinuses adjust. Makes a world of difference.
