North Carolina Air National Guard C-130 Crash

  • A North Carolina Air National Guard C-130 equipped with a Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System crashed Sunday evening in the southwest corner of South Dakota, killing four aircrew members and injuring two others. The plane was supporting firefighting efforts against the White Draw Fire at the time of the crash. Story by TSgt Amber Monio.

      Me too in 1968, along with what seemed like 200 ARVN (Army of VN) troops. But the crew couldn't turn down the heat! Not a cool ride.

      i left in march, we had some kinda of APC type equipment down the center, sorry you had a bum deal, but good that you are home too!@@Rama41
