Unbelievable LOCKHEED HERCULES C-130J LOOP during the FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW 2018 (4K)

- This was by far the best moment of the Farnborough Air Show 2018 - A Lockheed LM-100J already stunned the audience with an incredible fast takeoff and interesting steep climp but after that the real show just began. The Hercules accelerated and suddenly flew a full loop which was totally unexpected for me and something I have never seen before from a comercial plane. The shown variant of the Hercules is a comercial freighter and that` s the reason why Lockheed sent the plane to the Farnborough Air Show. Most people who work in the aviation business were present at the Airshow and it was the perfect occasion to show off the amazing abilities of the LM-100.
The LM-100 is a derivative of the C-130J-30 Super Hercules. Although there are not many civil Hercs flying around in the world right now I hope it will change in the near future. Within the past years I have only seen a single civil Herc which was operated by Air Algerie Cargo.
Thanks for watching my Farnborough Air Show videos, I hope you like them and see you with another video tomorrow. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I have worked and flew on a 1959 C-130A thru a 1986 C-130H3 in the USAF for 15yrs and modified them for LSI, DynCorp, and civil service for 15yrs more. It is still impressive to see just how far they can push this airframe.
They certainly pulled a few G’s, just look at the wing flex around 2:00.
As a resident of Marietta Georgia. I'm very proud of our neighbors who build these legendary machines. Keepem flying!
Wayne McVicker hello saludos to Marrieta GA love you lakes and best airports in the world
Wayne McVicker My father retired 2 years ago after 33 yrs as a flight line inspector for the C-130s in Marietta
I hope you Americans know how lucky you all are. Don’t take it for granted. You have such a rich and beautiful country with countless opportunity.
I can’t believe these classic birds are still capable of such intense flying like this!! My hat goes of too the crews who have the skills to pull this kinda stuff off!!
AvLand not the engineers?
That C130 is a factory demonstrator. The airframe design may be classic but that is a thouroughly new plane.
I would love to see that a EAA this year! Cargo and air-refueling is the spotlight this year so it would fit in. If I spot it on the flightline, I'm gonna get excited!! I think Bob Hoover would approve.
It may look the same, but there has been a few airframe improvements since then. More powerful engines too.
Yes, as Will Asproth said, to the engineering team at Lockheed who keep pulling rabbits out of the hat. Plenty of good pilots but aircraft this good are much more difficult to come by.
Wow, the Herc is AWESOME!! I can’t believe it has enough power to pull through a full acrobatic loop!!! Amazing. That’s one of the craziest airshow maneuvers I’ve ever seen
aerobatic
Now what I would like to see is a video showing the cockpit while the pilots are doing a manoeuvre like this...
I would like to see the cargo bay ... loaded with troops ... when they did that. Lock da door skippy, yer passengers AIN'T happy ... snicker snicker
glowros lol
czcams.com/video/uKvC7-i8D5g/video.html old video of the Swedish airforce
It goes like this: Earth, sky, earth. It's the earth part you need to worry about.
@@bertg.6056 Yup, LOL!
Thank you so much for inviting us Brenda and it was honor to meet you and you're very awesome woman and to me you're the greatest airplane pilot that I seen and met and please keep us posted when the next show I enjoy being seen you handle that big tank like a little toy it just so awesome and again it was honored to meet you and thank you for serving our country and protecting us and I'll let people know every time I meet I will mention them to you you're so awesome have a great day
My respect for a pilot that shows extreme airmanship skills and possibly tens of thousands of hours of flight time on his profile.
Chief C130 test pilot's last flight. He retired after this.
@@danarasmussen7590 - His idea or theirs? eg. was the loop authorised? (Dramatic chord : )

It's like watching an elephant brake dance. Amazing display!
Nice to see the Herk able to do these things again. Wing box crack issues were a huge problem from the mid 90’s through this replacement model. This caused a lot of restrictions to be put on the aircraft and things like this went by the wayside. I seriously wouldn’t want to be the Loadmaster having a pallet break free during an inversion.
Pallets don't know the difference as long as their is positive G.
Wow That was some sight to see, Never thought it could do that.. Thank you for sharing.
Climbing like a homesick angel
Wow! Incredible! I had no idea a Herc could perform like that. Hats off to the pilot too. Fantastic. Thanks for posting.
Fantastic!!! Great catch!!! This is why I love that plane, it's AMAZING!!! Thanks for the video!!
This is why I say the C-130 is the greatest transport plane in history. It's the only large aircraft that's landed and taken off from an aircraft carrier. If that doesn't impress you nothing will.
Great view of the action of the elevator as the airplane rotated during takeoff
It's believable to me one of the most badass military cargo planes I expect that
I am a former Hotshot, Smokejumper, and C-130 IP (I'll date myself- B Models). After USAF I flew all the Boeing Jets except the 737 and 787 , the L-1011, and the DA-2000. I'd rather have a Herc dropping Retardant for me than any of the Airliners- I'd rather have the smaller Load where I need it than 3 times as much scattered all over the hills. (Of the Jets, I'd rather have the Lockheed!)
No words... That was amazing!!
WOW!VERY IMPRESSIVE AND THX 4 POSTING !
An amazing pilot flying an amazing plane!
Великолепно смотреть как Геркулес родом из 50-ых делает такие сальто которые остальные по его размеру даже не могут. Самое главное что этот самолёт тактический и он будет летать ещё столько же лет. Американцы молодцы умеют делать вещи
What a beautiful aircraft, the firs C130 I ever saw was from the Control Tower at Nicosia (LCNCZT) Airport in 1960, when I was in Air Traffic Control there, now, 60 years later, sat watching flying displays on the computer and I see the Hercybird, STILL operational and even extended, she will surely be like the DC3 (also still many airborne in Latin America, ) I feel like adding "eat yer heart out Airbus? Thanks for a great Video.
This video is awesome, congrats on the excellent panning
Holy Sh*t, waht a monouver, looked as easy as it was a RedBull aerobatic plane :D
I may be specialising my studies on Flight Dynamics, I wonder if that some day will be part of a lecture
Spectacular show, nice job capturing it!
Fantastic thanks for the video
Amazing! Big smile on my face the whole time of the video!❤️❤️❤️🙏
Holy shit that takeoff. That's amazing. Amazing camera work too!
Bob Hoover would be proud....
Christoph Herrmann And Tex Johnson who rolled the Boeing 707
Saint Robert of Hoover would have done half of that routine 'deadstick' . . . whilst combing his moustache : )
AMAZING DUDE!! YOUR VIDEOS ARE SO COOL
i think this is the only classic bird that is still on production up to day, amazing...
That’s actually a Lockheed Martin L-100-30J which is actually a commercial version of the Military C-130j Super Hercules!
gosh,amazing,...must have been some stress on those wing roots...!!!!
Love the herc! Awesome aircraft and flying!
Pilot last flight he retired after the show so he whent out in style wow !!! I saw this from my balcony what a display
Hello nice video amazing to see the L 100 working
Amazing maneuver and big cojones! 👍🏼
Blimey, that was fabulous.
what a graceful bird. Lovely!
Wooow unbelievable, extraordinary for such a big body aircraft...
super video
Right then, Airbus, gauntlet thrown, loop the A400M

Ian Milner think they did it.
@@cliby25 not the same thing....
What the..... ? Fat Albert has some moves.
Wow 🤗
Wow, excellent!
Incredible!
WoW! That's amazing!
I just could not believe what I was seeing, my "Oh F*** NO!", was interpreted by my wife as a crash, but even she GASPED to see this superbly controlled manouevre.... awesome...
Nice video. Solid camera work.
Manu thanks!! Nice video!!
Many tnanks!! Nice video!
One of kind piloting n what a maneuverable heavy turboprop plane is this gen C-130👏👍
Great and brave pilot. I wouldn't have thought that possible in a plane of that size with such "sluggo" response of the control surfaces. He should have done a smoke can during the loop. Nice job.
Great vidya, thanks fer sharin with us
I have hunnerts of hours saddle time in Herky Birds, as Cargo...great planes!!!
I'd'a LOVED to see Tex Johnston demo one ;-)
Very impressive!
Capt to F/E, "Fancy a bacon and egg sandwich?" F/E, "After I've changed the wing box, Sir!"
Truly the best airplane ever built!
The pilot flying skill was awesome.... and the C-130J is great... the fact is ... you don't do fantastic stunts with heavy load on board.. but it still a great aircraft...
Stunning display
Wonderful.
Thank you for choosing Asian airlines. Have a nice day.
Bet the one I flew in back the 60's could not perform like that!!! Great plane.
Oh, it could. There was a squadron that used to do the full Thunderbirds routine in C-130s. Called themselves the Thunderweasels.
Nice!
Who has the guts to do that props to them

*Exelent video brother*
Wait what? Hes your brother? How that? I dont see that you have Bogdan in your last name, so... :/
Impressive
Amazing
Marvelous plane
Never saw more than 3G on the g metre in a Beagle b121 Pup that was doing loops. The C-130 is a strong plane. Remember Tex Jonson Barrel rolled the Boeing Dash 80.
They unloaded all the seats and everything they could out of the aircraft and left it all on the apron.. still very impressive to watch it !👍
Reminds me of that crazy ass fool Capt.Murdoch from The A-Team!! 😍❤️😎
No one flys better than the US AIRFORCE.That video was fantastic. Can the AC 130 do a loop like that ❓ 👨🏻✈️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That's a good looking plane!
Very cool
Bloody amazing for a transport aircraft!
it is impressive to see an aircraft as it is doing the aerobatic maneuvers that we are seeing in this video my congratulations to the pilots for their flight hours this is a test of their experiences in flight.Regards Angel.
Epic!
This aircraft in production since 1954! Wow!
Nice 😊
Truly, our AC-130 is in the air.
(Sorry)
Great vid, Cargo!
Done a few trips in the Hercs in my 1970s Squaddie days & glad that the RAF Ladies never ever ever bloody well done that!!
wahnsinn! Schon erstaunlich wie lange die C-130 schon gebaut wird
That 130 can dance like it's no tomorrow!
Awesome!!!!!!
Very Very good fantástic vídeo, Brasil ok.
THIS IS TRULY MIND BLOWING!!!!!!!!😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
F-16: I can loop
F-15: so can I
C-130: hold my beer
Everyone: 😳
Very cool! Insane, but cool!
The C-130 is truly a modern marvel
Wow ! I mean Wow! The ol' C 130 ! J , I believe.
LM-100J
After watching a Outstanding display like this how could anyone gust settle for taking a bus?
Oooooooh my stomache!!!! I felt those G's from here!!!! 🤤
Great stuff!!!! Betcha had hella fun! 😉

Good shoot
very impressive
A fitting nickname. 🤜🤛
Remember the Firefighting Hercules folding up its wings like a butterfly? I don't want to know how close this one was to doing the same thing during the pull-out out of its loop. Maybe they change the main spars after every air show.
Sensacional
Insane !
OMG my stomach. What an incredible airplane. Hope they have their cargo strapped down tight :-))
Nocargo in that thing
Cargospotter thank you for the video. The title should say "Unbelievable LOCKHEED MARTIN HERCULES ..."
Would be awesome to see 4 of these in Blue Angel scheme in formation , that would be insane . . They alreadu can land on carriers and some are tanks with wings . The Hercules is nearly unbeatable .
You don't see that everyday now do you? But then there was this one guy, a baggage handler for Horizon Air out of SeaTac back in 2018... Now that was truly tragic but damn, what a way to go. That kid went out in style. Too bad too. He had a beautiful wife, a bright future, at least one brother and many friends who thought highly of him. I get it though. I've been there myself.
A low altitude loop in that beast takes King Kong balls.
