I grew up on both the music of 2 Live Crew and Rodney-O-Joe Cooley. I had no idea Brother Marquis and Rodney-O had records out together especially as far back as '83 WOW!

This music does sound so familiar. Like "Pull Up to the Bumper" by Grace Jones. Since that song is even older than "Rythm Rock" (it is from 1981) chances are they 'borrowed' the same sound. I like both songs whatsoever.
Rhythm Rock - The Caution Crew

Yeah, Me and Mark have been Friends since 8th grade and I basically watched all this come together here in Riverside, Ca.
I remember this tune from back in the day we were on the same label. Magic Touch ✌️
Rodney O! A great little known west coast electro jam.

Well go figure, my dad was one of the producers for this song.
Who is your dad? I am trying to get a hold of the owners of the sound recording. Any help I would appreciate. Thank you
