It's really awesome to see Dressel so joyous and emotional like this.
Thanks for uploading this
3:37 Pure satisfaction 🔥
It is interesting to see the progress of Kliment Kolesnikov of Russia. Recently, the backstroke specialist also took part in freestyle with impressive result : 47.31 and 47.37 which are the 1st and 2nd best time this year ahead of Dressel's time. While Kyle Chalmers set 47.59. The newcomer from Italy, Alesandro Miressi has 47.45 and 47.53
So, my eyes will be on these four swimmers next month in Tokyo.
That's interesting
Now You have Popovici
@@juanpablocollazos1670 You are right. His recent performance is very impressive with 47.30. He even drew attention from Effortlesss Swimming, an excellent channel for learning and improving skill purpose.
I see he can still improve. Very good prospect.
David Popovici-Romania , 47:30. very easy...without opponents
I can’t wait to see Dressel vs Kolesnikov in Tokyo!
To be honest, I like Dressel more, because his technique and acting after winning!
But Kolesnikov my countryman!
Can’t forget about david popovici who went a 47.30 100 free a couple days ago at only 16 YEARS OLD
David Popovici!!! România!!! 47,30!!! The size of Nadia Comăneci!!!
@@georgev.precup6084 popovici is 6 foot 3 inches I think Nadia Comaneci was almost under 5 foot tall
OMFG TOO MUCH HYPE WELL DONE!! GO BLAKEEE!!
I have never seen 6'2 Blake Pieroni look so small.
Zach Apple is so tall
Eric Moussabani would destroy them
Now that Michael Phelps is no longer competing, you can all go for the gold, because when he was in the olympics they were all going for the silver!
Chad Le close says hi
Your saying is a joke. Dressel holds all the glory world records now
Amazing
Dressel’s gonna break the Wr in Tokyo Olympic
Wow you really see the future :)
He made or
@@curiosidadesdegenis Not world record, but Dressel take gold medal 100m freestyle with olympic record these days.
U're right =))))
Not the team I was expecting. Held went way faster 4 years ago, Maxime Rooney was faster than Apple at 2019 Nationals, Dean Farris didn't even make the final and he was 48.0 last year. WTF
Covid killed their training.
apple was riding dressels waves
USA will have a fierce competition with Russia in 4×100m freestyle relay at Tokyo Olympic next month.
This year, Russia have a very strong team :
1. Klement Kolesnikov : 47.31, 47.37 ahead of Dressel's best time this year (47.39)
2. Andrei Minakov : 47.74
3. Vladislav Grinev : 47.85
4. Vladimir Morozov : 48.00
I am not sure about the 4th best time in USA, i.e Bowen Becker who has 48.22.
When did the last time Russia take the gold medal in this relay ? I think this is the best chance for them. France and Australia are not impressive this year.
Isn’t Russia disqualified for having a rigged drug testing system?
@@slushie.2332 Oh I didn't know that.
@@slushie.2332 From what I have just read in ESPN.com, they are still allowed to take part, but could not use the word Russia as their country name as well as the flag.
@@lexsoft3969 yeah, that’s what I hears too.
David Popovici 47.30 ..
WHATTA MAN.
David Popovici 47.30 ‼️‼️100 m free
do you think Popovici has a chance for a medal?
Dressel put his head under water last 15m no breath
2:09
Tom Shields in fly or Zach Apple as anchor in the medley relay?
definitely apple as anchor
Which team they should be aware of : GBR, Russia, Australia ?
We know GBR are weak in backstroke, while Russia are currently very strong in bacstroke. Russia have 2 best backstrokers : Evgeny Rilov and Kliment Kolesnikov. But seeing an impressive achievement of Kolesnikov in freestyle (47.31 and 47.37) this year, Russia will place this young man as an anchor.
USA should have a solid margin in butterfly, because James Guy of GBR has better time than Tom Shields, while Russia currently lack of good butterflier. Imo, Michael Andrew can be one of the key in breasstroke : his best time of 58.14 should be enough to take lead ahead of Anton Chupkov of Russia. If Adam Peaty of GBR takes lead, the gap won't be large.
Then, in butterfly, Dressel should make a solid margin, in order for Zach Apple can maintain the lead away from his chasers : Kliment Kolesnikov of Russia, Kyle Chalmers of Australia, Duncan Scott of GBR and probably Alessandro Marresi of Italy.
@@lexsoft3969 who told you Britain don't have good backstroker this time , go and watch out for Luke Greenbank. He is constantly improving in both 100 and 200 back . This time gbr wins gold in medley. USA can fight for other medals . Team of Peaty-Greenbank-Guy-Scott looking formidable.
@@mstk1803 I know, but Luke Greenbank's mid 53 in 100m is not really a serious threat, although he can improve. It depends on Ryan Murphy too. If the American backstroker performed like at WC 2019 with his terrible 52.93, then USA will get trouble.
❤️🏊♂️🏊♂️
David Popovici-Romania , @. very easy...without opponents
well he got fked
Dressel vs phelps. Who will be winner ?
Now would be Dressel for sure
@@user-xe3vx8pi3c how about sun yang .
YT Hanzallah You’re kidding 😂
DAVID POPOVICI, România!!! 47,30!!! 16 YEARS!!! Is the new ALEXAND POPOV!!! From the range of the common NADIA COMĂNECI!!! He swims like a DOLPHIN, an exceptional technique!!! POINTt!!!
He lost, Paris maybe
Be careful dressel, david popovici is coming 🔥👀
David pop7thici
Swimmers are giants
Where was Nathan Adrian? Is he not doing the trials?
He wasnt fast enough to be in this final.
Enough for veterans, time for the youngsters. I am expecting Zach Apple to get better and better.
He's 33 years old, he wash up.
David Popovici 47.30 16 year old
Russian 4* 100m power. Kolessnikov, Morozov 46.9 Tokyo
Where Michael Phelps
Hows that rock your living under?
he has been retired for some time now, buddy.
He's 36 years old. He has retired since 2016 LOL.

Dressel this time you will have the opportunity to taste the sweetness of defeats .. you will be out of podium in 100m free man ..
