No, they should remove the hp bar mechanic which was in Valhalla and Odyssey. And completely re engineer on a fresh new engine.

@@RafaelSantos-pi8py actually those standards for Samurai didn't come into place until the 17th century. Yasuke arrived in Japan and was employed by Nobunaga in the 16th Century. Yasuke actually did achieve the rank of a Samurai. The info isn't that hard, don't let your racism keep you from doing actual research.

Games like god of war and the last of us 2 raised the bar so high with gameplay and combat that it's hard to get into other games that fall short of that. Oh and funnily enough MGS 5 which you featured in this video also had amazing smooth gameplay.
Well I hope that it meets some expectations it’s not like another game that has a warrior using stealth doesn’t exist. By the way I’m referring to ghost of tsushima and be for you say anything think about this the team from odyssey is making it and giving that the last couple of games stealth wasn’t necessary

Unfortunately I will have to retire from AC franchise and perhaps Ubisoft as a whole. Simply because it maybe online all the time and you may never actually own anything. I'm not sure what they have planned but if they choose that route I will have no other choice but to retire.
Not sure why that's a problem. The days of 'physical' are well on the way out.
@@sofajockeyUK The problem is that in order to play it you need to pay for a internet connection and in console, a game pass in addition of paying the game itself. And then , if by any reason they shut down the server, the game you payed for three times is unavailable.
Like Ubisoft did with AC multiplayer, even though we payed for the games and payed for multiplayer dlc's , etc, its dead for ever.
You're not buying a game to play whenever you want to, you're renting a game for as long as Ubisoft can be bothered to provide it for you, then it will be wiped from existence. And you have no claim, no rights whatsoever and your money is gone.

@@sofajockeyUK Exactly my point. 10 years from now the "games as service" will be unavailable to be played because they depend on Ubi's servers. So 20 years from now, you'll still be able to play AC1 but not the games being sold now.

Heres an idea let make a game in japan and instead of it being a strong japanese focused story its going to be a female ninja or a black man... with some flimsy explination why you can play as either. I miss desmond and a story with direction

@@JonathanLuntadila Open world and RPG are are two of the best elements of AC games. I remember the earlier games getting repeatedly criticised for being repetitive button mashers that needed innovation. For me, Origins was the leap forward, but Syndicate was also an excellent instalment after the disappointing Unity. Kass and Evie are two of my favourite protagonists.

Because the last 3 main entries (Origins, Odyssey & Valhalla) were the 3 most most successful (units sold) games of the series. (And because RPG is awesome).

But I personally feel if you spoke to og creed fans, who were real fans and not passers by. They would say the new stuff is mid at best. But I'm not saying your wrong about there success.

Try Ghost of Tsushima, elden ring, dragons dogma, Kingdoms of Amaleur, bloodborne, monster hunter it will show you what good combat feels like

it being an RPG is just a major Turn Off. Unity was the last Good game. Syndicates combat was Horrible
