This is... Fucking class! Saw them a few hours ago for the 3rd time. John is a legend
Did he write this while having a shit ??? Give it up ffs
@@neilkelly101 John is fuckin' BIBLICAL!
Yes it is PIL and brilliantly presented. Loud and lovely
Obscure delight ...❤💘 John you are awesome
PIL, and the boys are simply flawless, John is an utter genius to keep these bangers coming out, even with the new "Welcome to Penge" off the End of the World Album coming in August 2023. I've been listening to them for over 30 years. Such talent, amazing.
Truth! Johnny is a truth teller! God bless him! Bless him in his loss.
I hadnt seen PIL since school ad flew to LA for Cruel World show and gpt there late. I hope they are coming to NYC 0n tour in 2024.
So many great tracks on the album
"It came about because I became very interested in the war and I got very annoyed to discover that the true history of America was being pushed aside for a sense of self-righteousness to take its place.African Americans were definitely negated in that part of American history. I met a fella called Nelson Windbrush, who was a school teacher in Florida, and his great-grandfather was a black confederate soldier - a free man - who volunteered to join the confederate army. That's a black man's history within American history, yet it causes so many problems when you raise it in conversation. This song ties in with all that. It's very interesting." (John Lydon).
Brilliant. Another 1 saved and added 2 my johnny world list. Loud and lovely.❤🧡❤
You think? I reckon it's absolute shit. Sounds like session musos playing like they're on marijuana and his voice is another repeated bunch of riddles. Leave it for the dustmen😄 or should I say 'throw the flowers in the dustpan '
@@zaradragonia9863 I like the beat of it. Not everyone's cup of tea, there are plenty of others to choose from. I'm not a fan of lollypop opera and there are always 1 or 2 on the albums that I'm not fussed on but cos it's john I play them anyway, I have let them grow on me.
@@lisafarr2317 yeah I love Lydon but I just can't stand this band! They are nothing! It sounds like water dripping..or Chinese water torture
This the best of PIL❤️
Something between Kraut and Rave. The Lyrics are about the Civil war,Stonewall Jackson,Chancellorsville,Soldiers,Horses, the Woods (battle of the wilderness?).Very interesting Song.

Great song ! Has to be played loud in the dark for me ! It has always been like that since the first single ! Also I got told that I was in one video ! In the crowd but I have never seen it
Is still trying to open metal box...circle,film can 💞
We are good......................................................................................................
merci
This track and 'Deeper Water' are great tracks from the album. 'Out of the Woods' is about an American Civil War battle.
Sick tune ... I used to despise post Levene/Atkins PIL , this album made me change my perspective .
Johnys been listening to Dreadzone I think, great track all the same.
Superb PIL
YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!
Very good.
Great album....and I'm an old geezer in his 60s.....not sure what this music represents but I really like it! I'm well aware of John as I was a teenager in the 70s.......is this club music or something?
Post-punk / new wave
"As only a stone wall could"

Massive.
Jackson stood 'cause he could
'Cause he should looking good
To the woods and the stood, to the wood understood
Well here we are the unfar
As you are, here we are, here we are, here we are, here we are
Up to the woods as we should
Through the wood, secret would, secret should, secret would understood
Through the wood
And as we march far as far
What last dark from my heart
Secrets could in the woods, through the woods
Jackson could understood they they are
Here we are come too far secrets are
Ready are, ready are, ready are
Well, [?] bullets are, soldiers are, horses are
Jackson could 'cause he should from the wood
Jackson could 'cause he understood the dead I are
And here we are come so far, secrets are, ready are

This is soo : Housy Housy Wah
What is this Jackson Wood stuff? Seems a strange diversion using specific names.
@@williamdew7143 Judging men on one facet of their lives when that specific facet existed all over the world is anachronistic stupidity. The battle was drawn between one side who believed that they entered into the Union of their own free volition and therefore they could withdraw in the same way. The other side insisted that they stay and therein lay the conundrum. Chattel slavery was a pox on the history of humanity but only the West killed each other to eradicate it once and for all. Slavery still exists in some parts of the world and legally existed in many non-western countries far after the Civil War and into the 20th century. I’m sure you are as critical of the Eastern and African countries that continued the legacy of slavery well into the 20th century where your impeccable steed, that high horse called Morality, can actually be applied with merit, right? Or is it just the European’s that carry the burden of your perfect morality that didn’t even exist in 1863? One final point, if you are pro-abortion then you should realize that people in that day would consider that infanticide. Morality is a slippery fish.
Bollocks
2 words ... shite and shite 😩😩
3 WORDS GENIUS 🤔
I can't listen to crap using vague last names. I am sorry this is where I part.
Bye....👋
🤚🏻👆🏻👋🏻
This is about Stonewall Jackson. Not a "vague last name".
haha read a book
