    • @hansmemling7605
      @hansmemling7605 Před 4 lety +11

      To be a successful artist who is in the spotlight and can stay there requires a certain type of personality. An artist is tately a scientist just like a scientist is rarely an artist. Both will sound uninformed or stupid if they talk about the field of the other. And those commercially successful artists the most due to the many personality characteristics and backgrounds necessary to want to be in the spotlight.

      @hansmemling7605 Před 4 lety +7

      Another thing that I always say is that calling the artists the leaders of a generation is not so clever in my opinion. They say Madonna broke down barriers and questioned certain taboos as if she was the leader winning the war all in her own. But I disagree with this because it is the crowd who chooses the artist no the other way around. So if the artist's message is not resonating with the crowd the crowd boos them off stage. She can be called the voice of a generation but not the leader in my opinion.

    • @hansmemling7605
      @hansmemling7605 Před 4 lety +4

      @SCFC47 I agree, Madonna's story is a succes because she got what she wanted and dreamt for for many years :fame. And she will do anything to be famous or stay famous. If they slap a political label on her she'll roll with it as long as it serves her bigger goal of being famous. Although I myself cannot ever imagine being this easy for fame I do recognise that she is very competent, had and still has a beatiful career that she can be proud of.

      Hard to believe he's even still alive and relevant . Now he takes care of his wife who has dementia . Man the Pistols kicked merry old England and music dead center in the knackers I suspect they did it for the love of both. We need something like that now

      hotdog By the time that interview was over, The Queen would be raging and order a one way trip to the gallows for Mr. Lydon... but the exchange of words beforehand would go down in both comedy and world history! 🤣

      Brianna Kathleen he’s so awesome! He’s so honest and iconic. I’m just very concerned about him. The last time I had seen a picture of him and he had visibly gained a lot of weight. He’s getting older and the stress of his wife’s illness aren’t helping things at all. I hope things turn out okay for him.

    One of the few things I learnt from John as a teen was why lie? When the truth is so much more powerful. Because I never lie, when I tell someone something that needs to be said, it carries infinitely more weight than a lie ever could. And they know I mean it.
