@Andjulia I agree that Trevor is brilliant, more so that most. And he certainly does possess a wisdom about him. But I think we err when ascribe even someone like Trevor with greater-than-his-years brilliance. I don’t think it’s so much that Trevor is wiser than he should be at his age, but that most of us are foolish above our years. Most people his age should have his level of intellect and discernment. (His humor, sadly, almost no one has). But so many of us don’t, because we don’t take the time to educate ourselves, to listen to each other, to read and learn outside of our comfort zones, and to care about our shared humanity above all else. Most of us have the capacity for this. We just need to do it.

Nicholas Mokobane actually, these days, it seems like many comedians or at least late night hosts are more coherent and smarter than many presidents. For sure, Trevor, Colbert, Oliver, Seth Myers are all doing more relevant social commentary and accurate, informative actual news than America's president who is unable to complete a full sentence and probably in four years hasn't ever spoken publicly without at least one lie. It's a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world... The Kinks.
