@@meisterraul they are heavy haha 347kg wet. I'm interested in what people think of em as I've always fancied one. What was the gearchange like? I've heard 1st to 2nd can be a real pig.
@@jamesclarkson3009 It had a problem with 1st gear, as you can see at the beginning of the video I've kicked it hard. It gave me the feeling of riding something extremely powerful, with a lot of torque, just like riding a bull. Because of the wide tires, the bike felt like it wants only to go straight. The Sportster in front of me is mine and it's my first bike (got my license in 2021) and after I rode it again, it felt like a sports bike. Even the owner of the Intruder said the same :)) I like the bike, it's truly special but what I don't like is that despite the fact that it's very big, it has small fuel tank and little storage space.
@@meisterraul I passed in 2021 too. Got a bmw r1200r but always had a soft spot for these. Hmmm interesting as I can tell this example is a later bike. I know the earlier ones (06-11 something like that) had well known gearbox problems but it would appear they're all a bit clunky at best.
@@jamesclarkson3009 Last summer I went with a friend to see a BMW R1200R, 2007. I personally got scared of the height of the bike, despite I'm 1.88. But after that, I started to search a second bike, and got myself a Tenere 700. Anyway, I like the bimmer, I like it's engine, it's unique
