    Great Job with the run, I am about 3 weeks off of my first 26 weeks marathon training block right after high school. Hoping to go sub 3 hours. Could not image that many miles on the treadmill but running in the heat is horrible. I was just curious, is this Pueblo El Mirage?

    I do all of my marathon training on the treadmill except long runs even when it's nice out. I don't see why people hate it so much. I've improved my race times from tempo runs on the belt.

    Im in Texas so moving onto the treadmill for almost everything. Do you set the grade % to make the run feel more like the road?

    • @ethangreggburner
      @ethangreggburner  Před 21 dnem +1

      The rule of thumb most people follow is setting the grade to .5% to replicate running outside.

    Good run! You know what’s funny I feel like the faster I get on treadmill the faster I run outside even if it’s hot humid. I have run 10 30 10 40 pace for my easy long runs treadmill , but outside in warm humid weather early morning I ran 16 miles easy 930 paces it’s weird. I live myrtle beach by way so I do a lot my training treadmill in summer. But notice I get way faster from treadmill when I go back outside

      Oh cool Ethan! what event did your team win? yea i have been doing alot of my tempo speed miles on treadmill also hopefully to make me way faster when fall gets here later this year. For me a 8 min pace on treadmill feels like 7 min pace outside LOL

    It’s probably better for the body to do it on a treadmill (less impact)👍

      Personally, I think fast is fast. No matter the division. Look at Alex Phillip, Cheickna Traore, and Annie Rodenfels just to name a few top level athletes from D3!

    How to? Just do it that’s how. I did 26 miles on a treadmill once. It’s easy. Some people just don’t know how to be disciplined.
