Imagine running a 5k in 14:18 and still coming in last lmao
the comment I was looking for. They all almost were sprinting. their pace is really crazy
Super humans and 14:18 itself is faster
who cares..compared to the rest of the planet you are a champion
@@1127TOMIno it wasnt. The point was the irony in finishing last with an exceptional time.
😂😂😂😂😂
I just started the habit of running and seeing their pace is mindblowing to me. 4 min/km is literally a sprint for me meanwhile these guys run a sub 3 min/km. Well done👏🏻
4min kilometer is a sprint mode for normal people not for the super athletes tho
Guess what, this is the pace for a 2h marathon
INSANE
Currently working on the sub 20 min 5K and can confirm 4m per K or just below isn’t very fun for 5 😂 Although got mates that do 17 min 5K and always found that mind blowing then you’ve got this kid sprinting a 13:45 5K. Insane levels.
@@Sham1r04min/km = 24 seconds for 100m, it's definitely not a sprint time for fit people, even without training, I mean even if you're kinda overweight you should be able to run the 100m faster
0:44 - lol @ that random park jogger, probably bopping to the Rocky soundtrack and then suddenly a herd of human ostrich runners comes outta nowhere 😂
Terrifying experience
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Oh no"
😂😂😂😂
Yeah especially they all look like corpses
Honestly insane that Rowe is at 162 bpm mid way into a race in the lead!
True. Maybe wrist GPS is out though
@@Trackstaa_ 2:40/km with 163 BPM he is either an alien, or is the most conditioned person on the planet.
@@user-ws8jw8vf4t It also depends heavily on the person. Some people of equal fitness level have different max heart rates. Lionel Sanders has a really low one. Chris Froome probably has a really low max HR as well.
sheeeeeeeeeesh 140 at that pace??????????????????????? either they just started running or IDK O.O @@molochz
every HR is different and it s not race indicator every one has a different max HR. It will be more interresting to have the pourcentage of max HR he is.
This is mind-blowing, and even more when you think about Kiptum's 2:52 during 42km.
he would destroy them all in this 5k absolutely astonishing
😂@@Juloww
Imagine running 14:19 and not even be in Top 30 ?! wow what a level
yep. pretty insane
A lot of tigers!
I need to arm sleeves, that's what I'm missing 😂
i did 5 km in 29 minutes today and i was so stoked. I guess my youtube algorithm had to put me back into place 😂 This is just insane
Mine best is 32 minute..you are faster than me😮😊
You’ll definitely get better, more speed workouts and more endurance leg workouts will definitely shave off 2-3 minutes in no time. Best of luck!
My fastest record for 5k is
23 mins, after ACL injury it was 28 mins.
13 mins is super human.
Kipchoge runs 42 km in 2 hours
@@kevinpatel6602like 2 hrs even?
I know it is retrospective and the data has been overlaid after the original recording, but this is the example of the information we should see when we watch a big road race (with maybe delta to course/world record) great stuff
Yep and this was done with 0 budget. A actual production team could do this with so much ease
@@Trackstaa_weell a garmin 1000$ 😂😂
you probably can do that with cheaper watches
Great for the viewer but elite athletes won’t want their data available for competitors to potentially use for their gains.
@DG-nn8zt they have it in all sorts of sports so i dont think itll be too much of an issue
is was a truely insane race.. everyone did superbly on this race.
but Jack Rowe's final sprint was beyond.. was jaw dropping
yea seriously, I cant believe he still had "one more gear"
Great production value here. Stats, knowledge, context just adds to the excitement. Bravo!
Fantastic to see these races and great commentating throughout. Loved all the data on the screen. Keep them coming buddy, thanks.
thanks a lot!
What fantastic coverage!!
Jack didn't even seem to be out of breath!
I always thought I was out of shape when I’d hit 170bpm when pushing a hard pace for a while. Glad to know elite runners aren’t just cruising at 120bpm. Amazing pace!!!!!
keep in mind this is a short run for runners of this caliber. marathon runners will often stay between 140-160
@@generalh1044 Your heart rate doesn´t have anything to do with your shape. One marathon (or 5k runner, doesn´t matter) could be running at 140bpm, another one at 190 bpm, at the same level of effort and speed. One of the most common, yet stupidiest misconceptions about training metrics.
I used to run at 190 bpm for the 5k
@fake11end what are you talking about? Of course it does.
Kipchoge would probably run a 25 min 5k in zone 2, while most people in decent shape would be in zone 4/5 to maintain that speed
@@larkiess And? Zones are calculated as the levels of lactate production, can be estimated as %!! of max HR. Not absolute values, percentages. One elite runner might have 100-120 bpm is zone 2 with max hr of 165, another one might have 150-160bpm as zone 2 with max HR of 205. It´s the HR relative to your max HR which is crucial, and max HR can differ among individuals *regardless* of their fitness. Kipchoge and a 600lbs guy might have the same max HR.
excellent coverage and nice seeing the data on screen!
Thank you and thank you ☺️
Yeah how'd you do that? I wanna do the same with my runs but I don't know how to export my Garmin data and make It into an animation
most insane 5K run i’ve ever seen 🔥
This is so cool. We definitely need more content like this.
We need to do some track session
These guys never miss the tram they are late for.
faster to run to where they need to go
They r never late
@@klipklapklop3359 Where i live, in some cases, i can get to the places faster on my roadbike than by train. We are talking like 100km distance. Train go around and stop on every station. Its strange but it is how it is.
Very cool, cycling has been doing this sort of thing for a while. Would love to see more of it for running.
Doing more on it asap! Recently done on Ben is running latest video (it might not be out yet)
Its amazing to see where consistency and hard work can lead you
People like these individuals are incredibly fit and exhibit extraordinary discipline in areas such as training, nutrition, sleep, and character. Only a select few can attain this level of competency. If more people were to adopt such dedicated practices, we could potentially witness the emergence of a distinct and improved ecosystem.
Lay off the drugs bubba
Hats off to such speed.. Mind blowing!
2:35 min per km is my sprint! What the heck? At 160 bpm? Damnnnn.
Its very cold out there
I run 3:20 per km, these guys are insane. I’ve only been running three years though. I’m 20, so I got a late start unfortunately. I’m still going to try to reach their level. No, I will run 12 minutes.
@@noahg408312 min is a bit ambitious my dude. That's breaking the WR by like half minute?
@@Ryan-ul7dy 12:35 is world record
Unbelievable running - good Job 👍
thanks
Great video!! Gotta ask how you overlayed that data on the video? So cool keep it up
Wow Seth. I didn’t overlay this one it was done by Steve green. But when I’ve done it in the past I’ve used garmin Virb
Wow Seth Thanks* - it wasn’t letting me edit my comment
@@Trackstaa_ yep Garmin Virb using Jack’s gpx file
He did quality video editing, you should look into it Seth.
@@agilesamus that one there was a violation, personally I wouldn't have it
Just so impressed with the rest of the racers as well, top 30 arrives less than a minute later than the top runner.
Feast to the eyes. What a running 🥳🤩🎉😎🥳
Bro, that is completely amazing! I can run 5k in about 19 minutes and it is hard! These guys are really good!
That is insanely quick
Great commentary!
Lloyd kempson is the best
The runner must really like being flashed by a bright red light for the entire race. Really nice touch for sure.
outstanding performance 🤞😍
How fun would that be... hearing the live commentary in front of you, while you're leading...
I'd love it
Thank you for showing the heart beat track during the race. It is really the information we always missed during such events. Now I can compare it to what I feel and my bpm when I am running.
That's insane. I've been jogging for ~5 weeks now and can only imagine the work it takes to run 5km at this pace. My usual rounds around the park add up to 3,7km and I usually take 24-26 minutes depending on how I'm feeling on a particular day, haha. I can just barely do this without taking a break. Sadly, I cannot keep up the pace I have a the start. I slow down in the second third and in the last third I am just barely still jogging (but it's still not walking!). I've already improved in the short time though because at the very start I always had to take two 1-minute breaks to complete the distance. Maybe I'll be able to improve my pace in the next few months to 22 minutes for the distance or increase the distance I manage to run without a break
Just wanted to say I’m still reppin my ole Garmin 235 😎
Legendary watch
same here, the forerunner
Sick video and just crazy running ability
Thanks!
OMG that heart rate is insane! I would die after 1 km of this pace with 200+ bpm
My last half marathon, my average heart rate was 196 😂, i have a low resting hr but give me any exercise and it just shoots up
Depending on your fitness level. You won't be able to come close to such a pace before your heart rate sky rockets to 180+ and you are forced to stop.
You definitely couldn’t hold this pace for 1km lol.. and that is no disrespect, but I think you’re underestimating the speed. Unless you run around a 17:30 5km.. there’s zero chance you could hang for 1km
@@Bruzeys Indeed. Holding this pace is inhuman for everyone but a very small fraction of the world
Is it normal to run at 220 bpm? I run at that pace usually but feel like passing out while running
Amazing Race
mate that flashing bike light was pissing them off lol
Great video as always!!!
Idea: COROS should sponsor a marathon that eliud Kipchoge runs and broadcast his HR, pace, etc. This would work because Kipchoge is sponsored by COROS.
They should do that. I’d like to see it
They just simply cant.. becoz the data is going straight to the secret labs
This is insane
OMG, it's impressive how those guys are fast !! I take like doule the time
incredible. My pb is a little bit more than twice that!
Great content, thanks!
This Jack Rowe is superhuman
Amazing run. How they can keep running for so long when they hit 170bpm is so impressive. My legs shuts down as soon as I hit 170bmp. LOL
It is absolutely wild that Jack's HR only gets to 172.
Likely a bit lower than reality because he was only using a wrist strap
@@Trackstaa_ Still crazy how fit he is though
Insane,, I really envy you guys. :)
Amazing 🎉
Good run ROWE!
Brooo wtfff just impressive
Great form
With wich cam dit you film this?
I need to get those shoes Jacky wearing!
superb
My god, these runners are amazing.
As an adept runner, at that pace, I would be lucky to make it 2km before collapsing and vomiting
how did u get so accurate the pace at every second?
Пацаны ваще ребята! Очень круто! Респект!
I cant even cycle this fast. Insane how a human is capable of this feat
yeah and now Jack has ran 13:04 for the 5K
that's insane wow
well done!!
Power 🎉🎉🎉i love IT ♥️
HOWWWW . INSANE
I love the random guy just taking a walk on the inside lane around the 3.5k mark. Like dude, what the hell, use a sidewalk and get outta the way! 😂
Did not know his name before this video but I sure as hell do now
Really man these kind of videos should be encouraged more to motivate the young generation to stop wasting their time on video games, go outside and build up strength 😊
Quanto tempo pra ficar assim?
He got faster with each km. Great win.
Insane
He was running as a speed of more than 20km/hr for the whole run. that's amazing. I can't even think of touching that speed mark

Is this data of heart rate correct? Is it chest heart rate monitor?
Wrist heart rate is always a little out so it’s hard to say for sure
@@Trackstaa_ I'm disappointed to hear this was an optical sensor on his wrist. They are notoriously inaccurate. Could've been his cadence for all we know.
