No. This will be a big loss to the Indian economy. Do you have any idea how much money BCCI generates for India?
The brand value of the IPL is because of the brand value of the Indian players. Once you allow indian players to play other leagues, the IPL will lose its business.

@@tamberlame27 first of all, most cricket audiences are Indian. If we allow indian players in other leagues, Indian/ipl audiences got divided in other leagues. So result :- IPL down, other league up.
2nd :- UAE, American leagues can offer more money than India. UAE allowed 7-8 foreigner players in a team.
In short, without indian audiences no league can grow that much as ipl.
If our players go in any league, indian audiences follow them.
Don't do too much of cricket. One league (IPL) per year is ok, for indian audiences point of view.

You can argue with me, but there's no denying that Franchise Cricket is the future just like Football.
Don't bring the "Playing for the Country" issue.
Cricketers are professional and most have very short career except some legends of the game.
But they can earn by playing Franchise Cricket and have a prosperous future after retirement.
Only International Cricket should be ICC tournaments.
Only 11 players play in a match, but in Cricket Leagues almost 70-100 local player plays, get money and exposure.
