Donât worry Tina! I take a lot of pride in my baking and whenever Iâve tried Sallyâs recipes they always turned out dense and not great. I recommend Cupcake Jemmaâs ultra simple recipes. They are foolproof and so good.
I donât know if maybe I missed it but there didnât seem to be any baking powder/rising agent? That might be contributing to the density and lack of rise
