TUGS was a show created by same creative team behind Thomas and Friends back in 1988. While it only lasted one season, it left behind a legacy that has lasted for over 25 years. When I first watched the show, It was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen! The sets, the characters, the production itself, it was an awe inspiring program. After watching one of the episodes recently, I figured it was time for me to write my own musical tribute to it.

“For David Mitton”
I love how this is dedicated to him, he was a leader for all of us helping Britt complete Thomas to what it is today and giving a wonderful start for tugs. Even though Thomas is going down. David Mitton started the maiden voyage and he left the show happy with what he had made.
When I discovered TUGS when I was eight years old, it left a real big impact on me. Thomas is extremely mandatory, but TUGS is just as important to me, and seeing this spectacular number faithfully explain the legacy of the Stars just enlightens me!

I believe that Thomas & TUGS take place in the universe because in TATMR even tho it looks like NYC one location is called Big City.
I like this a lot... Tugs music is a rare breed on the internet nowadays. Love it, keep it up! :)

Now if this is not a fantastic tribute to an obscure but awesome series, I don't know what is. The tune has such wonder to it that captures all the wonder of the Bigg City setting. Another fantastic production as always.

I couldn't believe it when I realised the first and second verses are sung from Sunshine and Grampus' perspectives. They fit so well!

I think David Mitton would’ve been honored that his short-lived series with only 13 episodes about the hardworking and faithful Star Tugs and the devious and scheming Z-Stacks at Bigg City Port is still being loved and cherished by people and fans everywhere who are keeping the memory and legacy of this classic model show alive! 🚢🛳️⚓️🌊🎉🎊

Some of the equipment and props for the tv show was sold off
and nobody uses that kind of animation anymore

Hasbro should produce a full CGI reboot of TUGS, but with a humanized version for modern day.
