At one point I became very interested in magic and learned some of the basics. I'd watch these tricks and immediately be figuring out how they were done. Some, I did figure out, some not. It didn't make me happy. Now, I don't try to figure them out, I just enjoy the delight and the big smile they put on my face. :) Thanks Asi, for putting a smile on my face. :)
she forgot it so it doesn't matter. if she would have sad salt the plot would have been so much better that it is worth taking the risk. i think he should have told her now it was mixed - and now the pepper is in the cup and the she can through out the salt in the hand
@@handsome_man69 That's what I thought at first, based on the way he carefully placed his hand over hers for a second or so... but then you could still see the "pepper" there after his hand moved away, so I'm guessing he passed his hand over hers like that to drop something on the pile that would make the "pepper" turn white in a few seconds, or maybe it turns white from her hand heat, as others have suggested. The lady never really confirmed (i.e., tasted) that it was really salt and pepper.
yeah, easy job when u replace salt and pepper with high tech colorchanging nano devices... saw through that at the very first time with ^^ but now honestly: great one :D
It looks like he didn't use his own salt and pepper props though. Just speculating but it appears to be whatever the restaurant puts at the table. Of course they could be in on it too but I suspect it's more of a traditional trick.
Dino Spumoni when he closes the hand of hers , with magnet he clears of the magnet powder from her hand . And in the cup they already placed real pepper powder . That’s cleaning up the truck to look real
Nope sorry, you didn't get it - watch the salt before and after, it doesn't move, if the pepper was magnetic it would have smeared the salt across her hand.
Pepper is not pepper its a special compound that disolves with hand wormth. She doesn't know that thereisno pepper in the container. And he put pepper in the mug when he reached out to grab the containers. Great trick though ❤️
Have you seen this guy's act on Fool Us and the amount of respect Penn and Teller give him? The editing is just to make the video smoother, it's quite possible the people did some silly reaction and started examining the pepper - putting it into their hands etc. I don't question the legitimacy of the trick. There are plenty of gimmicks in magic which could explain the effect.
Bad ass trick. The pepper has to be magnet pieces. when its put on the salt looks like pepper. There are to many camera cut aways, but i would bet thats what it is and he just picks all them up with a magnet.
I'd guess the pepper is rigged to change white with heat, hence asking her to hold it tight. The personal question part is only to distract them, he wouldn't be able to take the salt from the pepper. BUT that is just my theory.
@@dinospumoni5611 AHAHHAHA You actually think the people aren't acting . Can you say gullible and braindead. You're definitely the type to think reality tv is real.
I know every magic trick ever done, magicians hate me. Trick reveal, play slow speed at 0:39 his sleeve has a powerful magnet as it collects the pepper/metal. You can see it disappear of you look close, then the next clip you can clearly see the pepper in her hand again. It was edited. He told her the first time to get that shot, then did it again. Basically it's backwards, the editing.
So basically you're saying the people at the table are in on the trick. I know Chris angel's walking across a pool did the same thing. The people there knew he was walking on plexiglass or some kind of clear plastic. I'm not so sure though. But meh....
@@jeffouellette9946 You can see that it’s a cut before she closed her hands. Before the cut, he’s closing her hand by pushing it with his left hand, in the cut he’s pushing her hand with his right hand
Absolutely is staged, thee's about 10 continuity errors.I can appreciate good camera trickery to a degree, but this isn't even good camera trickery, haha.
I have no idea how the pepper shaker is not there next to the salt from 0:43 to 0:47 but then is there again at 0:49 ... yet then it is gone once more at 0:57 and even disappears off the plate it was poured on. Wow. I mean the pepper disappearing from her hands is one thing, but the shaker re-appearing and disappearing when the camera angle is changed is another. Honestly the only thing impressive about this is the blunders and laziness in the edits. Like if you are going to do a trick that's just camera trickery, at least try and make it look impressive and then try and not have it riddled with errors in continuity. 😂
Three options for how this works as far as I can see: 1. The pepper isn't actually pepper but a powdery substance that changes color upon a chemical reaction with palm sweat, lipids, salt, as a result of increased heat. 2. The camera cut was intentional, allowing the filmmakers to cut to another scene where now the lady only holds the salt, in which case this is absolute fraud. 3. Sorcery. Given that the pepper disappears from the plate at 0:58, I'd say that this is most likely a giant fraud. F- you to whoever disingenuous life-waster made this.
Based on how slick most of this guy's tricks are, I think it's probably a decent trick in person, but the sketchy editing here really does make it feel like it could have all been done just with the edits. Like the way the empty plate starts in front of the guy with the glasses, later is gone completely, then shows up again in the middle of the table, then has pepper on it, then doesn't... the mug that gets the pepper was moved and rotated at some point, but we never saw him touch it... the obvious non continuous cut where he presses her hands together, but his hand is in a totally different position after the cut, etc. Seems like maybe they only had one camera, then shot 2 or 3 runs through the performance and stitched it all together in a rather sketchy way.

Ironically this trick was filmed at the "Pepper-mill" restaurant on the Las Vegas strip.
I'd say a type of powder that turns white when exposed to moisture (sweaty palms)
