    I completed 3 contracts for this video: The Slave Merchant, The Traitor and The Boat Heist. Obviously with No HUD. Arabic Dub with English Captions included.
    Did not complete the optional objective for the second one, because getting him to an environmental hazard was making for a slow video. First one had to burn, last one had to be undetected.
    Played on Hard difficulty, Tier 2 Smoke bombs with Extra Tier 1 upgrade (Larger Throw Distance, Longer Duration, Silent Explosion), Tier 3 Blow Darts modified to be lethal and deep slumber for instant effect. Tier 3 Traps with Extra Knockdown Radius and 60s duration.

    Assassin's Creed Mirage is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game will be the thirteenth major installment in the Assassin's Creed series and the successor to 2020's Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 5, 2023, and iOS on iPhone 15 Pro models in early 2024.
    Mirage is principally set in 9th-century Baghdad during the anarchy at Samarra, and follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla) and his transition from street thief to fully-fledged member of the Assassin Brotherhood, who fight for peace and liberty, against the Templar Order, who desire peace through control. The game has been described as a return to the series' roots, with a bigger focus on linear storytelling and stealth gameplay than more recent installments, which primarily focused on role-playing elements.
    Assassin's Creed Mirage is an action-adventure stealth game intended to be reminiscent of older Assassin's Creed titles, being more linear and story-focused and reducing the number of role-playing elements present in recent installments of the series. Parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth are core elements of the gameplay. For assassination missions, Mirage adopts the "Black Box" design previously seen in Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Syndicate, where players have to explore the environment to find different ways to reach and eliminate their targets.
    The game is set principally in the city of Baghdad, which is divided into four districts including the Round City, Karkh, Abassiyah with its House of Wisdom, and Harbiyah, but also features Alamut, the fortress headquarters of the Hidden Ones. Baghdad is much smaller than the worlds of recent Assassin's Creed titles, being closer in size to Unity's and Revelations' depictions of Paris and Constantinople, respectively.
    Similarly to previous Assassin protagonists, the main character, Basim, has a large arsenal of weapons and tools at his disposal, including the signature Assassin Hidden Blade, smoke bombs, throwing knives, and poison darts. Both weapons and tools can be upgraded through a skill tree which allows different effects to be applied to them. Basim also has access to both Eagle Vision and an avian companion named Enkidu (after the character from the Epic of Gilgamesh), an eastern imperial eagle that can be used to scout nearby areas. Unlike previous Assassin's Creed games which featured avian companions, enemy archers can detect and shoot at Enkidu.
    Mirage introduces a new ability called "Assassin Focus," which allows the player to eliminate multiple enemies simultaneously and is recharged by performing stealth assassinations. When the ability is activated, time stops and the player can mark up to five enemies who will then be automatically killed by Basim in quick succession. Another new feature are various poles located around Baghdad, which can be used to cross wide gaps. Furthermore, moving and running animations have been refined to improve mobility and fluidity, with the development team taking inspiration from "samurai, ninja, and even Jedi to a certain point."

    I really liked this, especially the HUD-less and Arabic audio aspect, really nice touches. From the looks of it the world and enemies are very readable without visual aids and the way you used Assassin focus while on the air I feel is the way to go; more of an enhancing mechanic that way. If you don't mind, I'm very curious about how you managed to accurately translate the audio into CC. Are you fluent in Arabic or did you replay the sections with subtitles on and then compare the footage? Asking because I have tried to do these with languages I don't know and it's quite hard, so kudos

      Only story relevant dialogue (and anything said by Basim) is subtitled in-game, I had help from a native speaker to make these subs and included guard and NPC chatter too.

    Thanks for showing us the HUDless gameplay. Only way I play games and love that Ubi lets you do it with all their games now. Took them a long time but they listened there at least.

    Very nice. Your tool setup works really well for this kind of aggressive, lethal stealth. I didn't try Poison on Blowpipe, let me know your thoughts on it, does it guarantee kill and put them down pretty fast?

      It's like a more reliable knife, it's an instant disable and they die seconds later.

    One more thing: DId i guess it correct that if u unlocked chain assassination u can assassinate 2 guards after each other while remaining in stealth like in 0:45 ??

      @@Broox38 In the linked one I wasn't detected and would have likely been able to get the other assassinate anyway (with the maxed out Initiate of Alamut outfit assassinations are 100% silent), but you can see it at work right after when I climb up (and get detected by the second guard before finishing the chain).

    i have 2 questions regarding chain assassinations:
    1) at 0:30 what happened to make it so sped up? in gameplay footage it seems to be really slowmo for targeting
    2) at 3:18 did you quickly pan your camera to the target in order to chain or did it lock on automatically?

      The targeting is only slow while you haven't confirmed the chain assassination yet. If you just maniacally tap the assassination button, you'll go into the chain takedown really quickly. Both of your linked instances were auto targeting, though you can make the game prefer a target by looking in their direction before the starting assassination.

    WOW! really I just dont know where to start. I have so much to say and ask lol. I try to write not so long and only mention the biggest stuff.
    First Question: The time passing on the bank, does it alllow for replayability after a save file?
    I allready expected a quit a bit from the Gameplay but this definitly surpassed my expectations. Its crazy how much a skill difference from player to player can change the gameplay in the end. 1:12 blew my mind it looked soooo Sick! Overall the layouts guard positions, level design, mission design all will allow for several reaper runs. Im worried a bit animation wise. I personally dont like the slide, but it triggers anyway only if the guard is placed weird. 2nd question: Is there a possible way to trigger the walk by assassinations like from unity while slow walking? It looked like its a bit random if a normal assassination triggers or the walked by slice/stab animation. 3rd and lastxD: The poison dart. How does it work? Does it kill instantly / overtime? So I dont want to write any further it would take ages and I allready ask a lot, would love to get an asnwer. And sorry for the shitty writing I just wrote it down and gramatic is probably quite of. Again amazing runs :) Cheers

      Glad you enjoyed the video! And now to your questions:
      1st) The time passing on the bench is pretty optional for replayability. Saves are pretty consistent in my experience, they put work into the save system compared to Odyssey and Valhalla. I use the time passing for a cool intro and the transitions.
      2nd) I've not played enough (45 hours so far) to understand how the game chooses what animation it will play.
      3rd) Poison dart is the blow dart modified to kill. They get a poison modifier and die within 5 seconds or so (I haven't timed it).

      You can rebind pretty much anything, I put Sprint on Hold R2, instead of it being a toggle.

    Can you trigger an air assassintion, and in mid air throw a knife at another target before landing on the original?😊

      No, once you initiate an assassination you are locked into it and can't do anything until you reach your target. What you could do is throw a knife from mid air on one and then initiate Assassin Focus on the other target.

      It's still somewhat janky, but Basim's jump distance and higher max height for objects he can grab (you can actually jump onto a slightly higher rope now) make this the best mechanics out of the entries since Origins and the open world design does a lot of heavy lifting as well. You may not always jump where you intended to, but you'll very likely not lose much or any elevation and can smoothly recover.

      There are no dual assassination animations, but you can see me use the chain assassinate skill without the knife throw on two pairs of guards in the first clip. The first one would have worked anyway, as he didn't detect me assassinating his buddy, but on the second set (at 0:59) you can see the standing guard detect me, but I can still assassinate him and I don't use a knife for it. That is the chain assassination in action. You can in practice assassinate pairs of guards standing/walking next to each other, so effectively you have a reliable dual assassinate, without a dedicated animation.

      @@TrevisoStealth Yes, I believe the way you play it is how you shall use it. Sadly, some people keep complain based on other CZcamsr's videos, hen they mostly sucks at stealth. I guess it's internet, sometimes games shall be experienced instead of watching others play online, it will feel different.

    Ah, shit. You mean to tell me you can't turn off that dumb white outline over Basim when he's hidden or in stealth? That's literally one of many HUD elements I'm hoping we can disable for immersion.
