Excavator Recovery Trapped In An Irrigation Pond

- Excavator Recovery. This Excavator slid off into an irrigation pond while cleaning out sludge left last year. The pond had a lot of muck under the crust. Gravity got the best of him, and he slid down into the muck. Any further attempt on his part of exiting the pond would have rolled him over. We succeeded in getting him out of the pond without causing any damage to the machine. #utah #ExcavatorRecovery #TrappedExcavator #IrrigationPondRescue #HeavyEquipmentRecovery #EmergencyExcavator #WaterloggedExcavator #MachineryRescue #ConstructionSiteEmergency #StuckInPond #RescueMission

Great job getting that out without damaging it. I'm sure the owners were happy. Keep up the good work. Entertaining videos
Sometimes it's cheaper to hire a real operator than try it yourself. I've never got an excavator into a spot it wouldn't get itself out of. That one doesn't look real bad compared to what I've been into. I read you charged nothing which is nice of you.
I don't understand why they didn't use the hoe to help push it out. Seemed like they were padding the bill for hourly rate
Guess so
@albertcyphers1532 We didn't charge anything for the recovery. They had already unsuccessfully attempted to pull the excavator out of the hole before calling us.
That guy is a fool. All he had to do was turn the trackhoe around and drive out the other side which had 60 feet of low grade uphill. Obviously, the guy making this video won't tell him because he wants to get paid which means he needs to use the tow truck to winch him out the hard way. Society is so f@ked, ha, ha. 😂😂😂
@dammitbobby283 We didn't bill this customer for pulling him out of the mud. NO MONEY EXCHANGED!!! Our customer stated that previous to pulling his excavator into the irrigation pond he and the property owner walked out on the irrigation pond and it felt very solid, but when he pulled his machine into it, he said it was as though there was no bottom; he started sinking and kept sinking. There was no way to drive out the other side...too muddy. They had tried unsuccessfully to pull it out with a big front end loader before calling us. The owner of the machine and the land owner helped with the recovery.
