look into your local raffle laws! many youtubers dont use raffles due to strict raffle laws. they usually use the entry process from the merch proceeds so they dont have to claim purchase tickets as a raffle via transfer of goods and label it as a give away, that way you can consider it as a "trade of merchandise" rather than a raffle where you receive money which you may have to claim extra on your taxes and or require additional certifications to do so legally. not really sure, i didnt really look into it, but i vaguely recall another youtuber loosely explaining it a while ago.

My son and I are makers. We taught each other (yes, he teaches me more than I can teach him) how to weld tig. But our 300$ welder is about dead after the years. We do half art and half function and half just playing around :D We would integrate the ArcCaptain into our new shop (new home garage) to build on his and my passion for making things awesome.
It's actually a really cool story. My dad, so now we're expanding to 3 generations, is an exceptional welder. He's taught me how to stick and mig, and he's great with wire gun aluminum, but he's never done tig. When my son got to the age, I started teaching him what I know, but he and I both wanted to learn tig. So I bought the cheapest 3way welder, no hf start, no peddle or finger switch, I could find and we've been burning up tungsten ever since.
Dang this ArcCaptain would sure help me get into a/c aluminum welding, just started a side hussle Fabrication shop and getting into aluminum would open a lot more possibilities for me and my family

I run not for profit Creative Hub in the U.K. and we’re in the process of upgrading our workshop with new kit and a TIG ArcCaptain would be a brilliant addition. Our maker space has a cheap flux core MIG and a cheap stick and I’m personally just getting into the welding world to build furniture as a hobby.

That ArcCaptain looks like a pretty good starter welder. I have a lot of projects that would be better being aluminum rather than steel, but a spool gun or AC/DC Tig welder isn't quite in the budget yet.
I Have been looking at tig welders after watching your videos on the different brands. The AC tig for aluminum on the ArcCaptain was something I was looking for for more versatility.
With a new (my 1st) welder, i would fix so many little things around my house! I would fix my mom's railings on her deck, instead of replacing them. I would also not have to start at the Vevor (or below) level. Thank you ArcCaptain! 🎉

I would use an ArcCaptain to really dive into TIG welding. Currently only have experience with MIG (and a tiny bit of stick), and the current welder I have at my house is a _very_ cheap stick welder from like, the 70s, that has no settings on it at all.
ArcCaptain looks like a good unit to get started with. Really been wanting to get into ac tig. Been watching your videos since the start and not to far from you guys in va.
Love your vids, keep up the great productions. The ArcCaptain could be a handy goto when starting to weld. I'd certainly put it to good use as a first tig welder to practice with.

This machine looks a lot like my Unimig Viper 180 TIG welder (sold in Australia - 240v 10amp power supply). Connections and functions seem identical but a different digital display. To enable the foot pedal to work properly I have to press the pedal flat to the floor and hold it for several seconds to put the welder into "remote" mode. To exit "remote" mode repeat the procedure. If I don't get the welder into remote mode the foot pedal acts only as an on-off switch. Keep up the good work! Cheers - Chris.

I would use the new welder to replace my Hobart that I’ve had for many years after starting with a Lincoln buzz box. Started in high school and I am 59 now. I started my welding as a high school art student way back in 1969 using Oxy/Acc! I bought an Oxy/Acc setup when I was rebuilding my '73 Camaro and wanted to braze up all the seams before painting it, that was in the '80s. In 2003 I was forced retired from a job I had with a communications equipment company and decided to start my own business doing handyman work for friends and neighbors, one of my first jobs was to construct some decretive window grids similar to some of the stuff you have made. I was trying to use gas setup to weld the 1/2" square bar stock and the heat expanded the bar knocking the whole thing out of alignment. After the third cuting it apart and trying again I went out and bought a Lincoln MIG welder and was able to get that job done, even though I was using flux core wire it came out very nice! I used that for a number of projects and only a few years ago did I hook it up to gas, I've tried using it for aluminum with not so great results as it's a DC only box. It's says I just need to reverse the polarity but it still doesn't work so well. I would love to be able to pick up an ArcCapitan TIG (or any TIG) but just can't justify the expense. So I'm putting my name in to the bin and hopefully it will be a winner! BTW, I look forward to the Lift Arc Studios videos and enjoy all of your projects, humor, team mates, and shenanigan!!! Thanks for letting us into your shop!

I have been in the market for a new tig machine, and the Arc Captain would fit the bill for sure with not only the modern controls but the space savings over my 275 square wave.

I've just in the past few days started watching your CZcams channel and have subscribed to it. I really do enjoy the reviews and the seriousness and the professionalism of each review given. Now that I am retired and poorer the ArcCaptain Tig 200P looks like it would be a great addition to my shop. The fact that I bought an old bass boat as a retirement gift to myself, I could use the ArcCaptain Tig 200P welder to repair any holes may accidentally appear in the boat. The ArcCaptain looks like a good welder. I’d use it to learn tig weldiing, and to weld rust repair panels on my 68 nova. I’ve wanted a tig welder for a long time, so I can retire the oxy/acetylin welding with coat hangers. Good vid guys, always entertaining. 👍

In 2003 I was forced retired from a job I had with a communications equipment company and decided to start my own business doing handyman work for friends and neighbors, one of my first jobs was to construct some decretive window grids similar to some of the stuff you have made. I was trying to use gas setup to weld the 1/2" square bar stock and the heat expanded the bar knocking the whole thing out of alignment. After the third cuting it apart and trying again I went out and bought a Lincoln MIG welder and was able to get that job done, even though I was using flux core wire it came out very nice! I used that for a number of projects and only a few years ago did I hook it up to gas, I've tried using it for aluminum with not so great results as it's a DC only box. It's says I just need to reverse the polarity but it still doesn't work so well. I would love to be able to pick up an ArcCapitan TIG (or any TIG) but just can't justify the expense. So I'm putting my name in to the bin and hopefully it will be a winner!

I have been in the market for a new tig machine, and the Arc Captain would fit the bill for sure with not only the modern controls but the space savings over my 275 square wave.

I've just in the past few days started watching your CZcams channel and have subscribed to it. I really do enjoy the reviews and the seriousness and the professionalism of each review given. Now that I am retired and poorer the ArcCaptain Tig 200P looks like it would be a great addition to my shop. The fact that I bought an old bass boat as a retirement gift to myself, I could use the ArcCaptain Tig 200P welder to repair any holes may accidentally appear in the boat. Been wanting an AC TIG machine (but everything is so expensive) so I can hone and practice my Aluminum TIG welding. I've run into times where it would have been absolutely indispensable to have as a skill and tool at my disposal. Being shorter, the ArcCaptain's pedal ahould be perfect for me 😂

The ArcCaptain looks like a good welder. I’d use it to learn tig weldiing, and to weld rust repair panels on my 68 nova. I’ve wanted a tig welder for a long time, so I can retire the oxy/acetylin welding with coat hangers.

ArcCaptain !!!!!! I’m just starting out with Tig so I have no clue what I’m doing. But in school for RV tech and welding aluminum is a must in this trade.
