I liked the P5. I imagine the J sounds good in a mix even though you don't hear it soloed.

This video was very helpful. I wanted 2 DCs. But now I'm like p5 in the neck dc in the bridge.

I have another video where I used that setup. The thing is since the DC is higher output it overpowers the P. You have to blend accordingly or lower the bridge pickup alot depending on preference.

@@klaymeister ahh I see. So what you say just do 2 DCs or 2 Ps?

Hey man! Maybe you could help! I have a schecter as well but mine have the 40 HZ pickups and powered by 18v system. Could I just pop an EMG CSX in the Bridge and an EMG P5X in the neck and call it a day after I connect all the wires? Any help would be appreciated!!

The HZ pickups have different wiring on the back. 5 pins instead of 3. Also the volume knob may be 500k rather than the 25k they use with active. So short version is no. But if you buy the new pickups they usually come with all the wires and knobs you need.

@@klaymeister okay! Thank you so much! I’m very new to learning about pickups so I had no clue where to even start lol. Your reply was very insightful.
