В этом обзоре мы будем сравнивать датчики Seymour Duncan и EMG.
С этим карантином мне пришлось максимально много записать видео так как все будет закрыто, включая магазин Джем где происходят все съемки. Поэтому разговорная часть получилась немного скомканной, исправлюсь в следующих видео, обещаю :)

thanks for the comparison, Igor! Just ordered the EMG-equipped JMJ in spot production blue.
EMG sounds darker and smoother, but the SD has a growl unlike anything I've ever heard.. so tasty! Exceptionally great demo and playing.

I still want both, I must say I'm highly intrigued by the Seymour Duncans!! I remember wanting a stingray 5 when I was a kid, but, by the time I could afford one, they changed the specs and hence the tone 😔😔. That bridge pickup really sounds like the older 90s stingrays! Love that tone. I have a feeling that it probably sounds way brighter in person!! I can't stop watching this video, that and the JMJ5 M ash vid too!!
Very nice demo, well played ! Same basses with different pickups = completely different sound. Hard to say, the Seymour duncan have more mid range and emg one more balance sound to my ears. I need both ;-)
I chose the black one with EMG pickups. I like the blue color better, but sound is cleaner on EMG pickups. Duncans sound too compressed, and I tried a 4 string FGN with them.
Thanks for the review BUT It would be better if after the example on the one bass there would be the same example on another bass, instead of looking where is the same example on the second bass with same pickup position and EQ begins.
sd has a nice tone and character and pop. however i am partial to the ultraclarity and heat of emg even if they compress
Me personally, the EMG's all day. To me they sound so much better than the Seymour Duncan's.
