@@NoksusFact
I think what's odd is Arun didn't even mention the fact that one of the big factors in Google+'s failure was how Google _forced_ it onto people, most notably with it's shoved-in integration with CZcams, essentially combing your YT account (especially those who've had the account _at the very beginning of the platform_ ) with a useless "social media" account.
I liked Google+. 99% were nice people who didn't filter much and it was easy to manage and were' real' people with real hobbies.
I remember how annoying that was with CZcams
New rickroll
@@charismahornum-fries691 I personally just didn't have a problem with it, but the integration didn't make it easy to accept as at first.

The full story of the Sinclair C5 hardcore fail is comedy gold - at the big press event to launch them, they had the reporters try them out, and half of them didn't work. Also, the idea of taking these on the road was ludicrously dangerous when you're so low to the ground, can't see past other vehicles, while also getting a faceful of exhaust fumes.
and you literally wouldn't survive in case of an accident
awdwda
Don't forget the lack of a roll bar. Even low speed vehicles can easily tip over, lets say for example if one wheel fell into a pothole or off a gutter.
You know there are thousands of Velomobiles that are as low to the ground and there hasn't been a single deadly accident yet?
@@miskatonic6210 I would have thought that was due to the Helmet laws and other factors? I am open to correction here.
Somehow tech isn’t made to be perfect. We can seemingly all agree on the fact that even devices have their own set of flaws that can be difficult to ignore. We appreciate this channel for keeping with consistent content all throughout.

About this incident:the boy simply did not wait for his turn, and took the same figure that the robot decided, but it happened at the same moment
The robot has a camera on the board and should have instantly stopped moving and opened its pincers the second movement was detected. Even an elevator door is smart enough to know that!
I'm amazed that you covered the NEW Easy Bake oven but not the ORIGINAL. Holy crap, if the new version is unsafe, the one made in 1963 or the one I had from the 70's were absolute dangers to an entire neighborhood. Still turned out the best mini chocolate cakes though.
The older models were actually safer because they used incandescent light bulbs for the heating element. The newer models use an actual heating element like a real oven. The failure is still less on the product than on the inability of parents to supervisor or teach their own kids not to stick their fingers in everything.

Fun fact: In the chess game Arun “played” against Milo, the latter played what’s called a scholar’s mate. It is one of the fastest and easiest ways to win a game of chess, however it is also very easy to defend against, meaning that an experienced player like Arun would never actually lose like that.

Aereo was great, I watched a Super Bowl when they were in operation. It’s not like they foolishly ignored broadcasting rights. In fact there was much discussion of their tactic at the time, they thought they had a loophole. They’d receive over-the-air TV broadcast and distribute them in their virtual “cable” network; they figured they could do that. And they had a good argument, but it was up to the courts to decide. Sadly the courts decided against them.
Exactly. If I remember correctly, the reason they had thousands of tiny antennas instead of a single one is because they were giving each of their subscribers a dedicated antenna. I believe a loophole like that would have worked if it was common people being screwed over and not big broadcasters. Also, if you are going to say Aereo was a 7/10 failure, what was CNN+? At least I got a feeling of schadenfreude with the latter.

The best thing coming out of the GTA VI leak is that since people said the beta looked bad, it prompted TONS of both indie and AAA devs to show early Beta builds of their most popular games to show how rough early builds look

Just a bit
Easy Bake ovens have been a popular toy since the 1960's. Previous generations of kids seemed to have the good sense to keep their hands out of them...
They also used to use a completely different design. My sister had one when we were kids. The tray was pushed into the "oven" through a slot on the right side and was removed from the "oven" through a slot on the left side. It was brown and yellow and looked a lot less like an oven than the aesthetic they're going for now.
I imagine parents back then just wouldn't report something like that
I actually kind of like the idea of posting things that are directed at specific people

I sat in a Sinclair C5 once, and it was so oddly designed... the handlebars were under your legs and it was so low that a van could hit you and not even notice 😂
Now, the Sinclair C5 may seem ridiculous to many... but as a disabled person who had to live without a car for 5 years, this would have been ideal for me during that time. I could walk -- and, thank goodness, there was a good store less than a mile away -- but it was so taxing I literally had to plan several days around every trip I had to make. It was awful but that looks like a much better (and more affordable) solution than the mechanized wheel chair, for which I did not qualify, anyway. Oh, and BTW? Golf carts are electrical and have been around for 50 years.
i don't think the issue was with the concept, it's good in theory. but the execution was clearly terrible, and at least golf carts have roofs

1:36 I remember my Dad having a PDA for work. Looking back on it, it was pretty clever for the time, and honestly a useful device.
I remember seeing one of those security robots just rolling through the mall like it was tryna blend in! lmao I got in front of it and I saw it scanning me, it wanted to see my after hours credentials for that mall! I was stunned. This was @ 2016 or so.
1:54 not sure about the apple thing, but I had a palm PDA in the 90s. The handwriting recognition was actually quite good, but you had to draw using EXACTLY the motions that were programmed into the machine. IE a capital A had to start from the lower left, make the arch, lift stylus, cross arch left to right. Once I learned I could go quite fast, but yeah. Surprisingly, I got to take part in more than half of these tech fails. I even found a Google Newton device in my cupboard some time ago, it was probably bought by my dad when it came out. And so with the rest. It seems I've got some inherited taste for tech failures, which seems kind of upsetting ☹
What’s funny is that while I was watching this video, an ad with you in it for Opera AI played
The irony of that easybake oven is the ancient version just had a standard oven door that could not have trapped you at all 😂
But... 17:02 A SUB TO THE CHANNEL WOULD BE...??? I thought that was the Guinness World Record you were working on... Wasn't it? 🤔
The catch on the Easy-Bake Oven was one of your best yet. You met the oven with the same trajectory as it landed in your hands then slowed it down perfectly, all while executing the script perfectly. 10/10 Mrwhosetheboss catch
I had the the easy bake oven (or something like it) as a kid in the 80’s
I have watched this so many times but its taken up until now for be to notice the axis cube on the table
My family actually had one of the samsung washers that got affected, they opted to get it fixed, which amounted to some guy coming to the house, presumably sticking something in the top to keep it from ejecting violently, and plastering on an extra warning label...
that washer proceeded to die not long after when the spindle that holds the drum wore out and it started to sieze. (i think it was less than a year after the repair that it went out)
There was also a recall on some Samsung Dryers where they would catch fire. I'm surprised that was never mentioned. For that recall, Samsung would actually ship you the parts (and very poorly written instructions) to do the "repairs" yourself.
I don't know what obsession I have with Arun's videos. I click them as soon as the notification pops and go through the entire video no matter what I'm doing.

3:26 Never understood how people could see not finished footage and be like, it looks unfinished why is it so bad? 😑😑
Fr, the “unfinished” word is there for a reason. How are people gonna leak an unfinished game and get mad that it looks unfinished?
I really hate when people say, "GRAPHICS OVER GAMEPLAY!!"
Are they just saying that they will complain about the game because of the graphics?

7:56 I once had a robot bringing us our coffee and cake in a mall café. It left before we had the chance to take it all out.
16:03 I think I saw a clip of a chess robot breaking a kid's hand or finger, because the kid had one piece to win.
I never understood why they redesigned the easy bake oven. My sister had one as a kid and while the more conveyer belt style design that looked like a pizza oven from Dominos may feel dated, it had the added benefit of not having ANY WAY to get your hands stuck.
I know they wanted it to look more like a normal oven - so why not just have an actual door, like an oven, that folds down?
And yeah, one thing I always gave credit to the easy bake oven for was the included ingredients and stuff actually made a really tasty cake. You can make a similar one in a cup in a microwave, but you get the idea.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16, 17.
That was actually a pretty good idea, the conveyer belt thing.
But it seems like that yeah, with the getting one's hand stuck, even a normal oven would be safer. At least in that case you could pull your hand out unless it was stuck in the oven's contents. And even then, you'd REALLY have to screw up to have that happen to you.
