- Today, I'm sitting down with Jordan Syatt, a world-record powerlifter and expert trainer for losing fat and building muscle. In this episode, we didn't just scratch the surface-we went deep, got practical, and covered a lot of ground in between. Our discussion on eating habits and disorders, particularly the impact of binge eating and succumbing to social media influence, will equip you with actionable advice. We also explored how the habits we form today can set the trajectory for our future and the impact this can have on our families. It was an inspiring conversation, and I'm excited for this episode to equip you further on your health and fitness journey.

The mom story...😢 Don't wait to do things, do them now! I'm at work listening to this and I have to hold back 😭 tears!
I'm deeply touched and moved, guys!
Nothing is ever guaranteed in life except for Death itself.
Like Jordy, I'm also that black sheep dude but I now choose to be a Generational Inflexion Point.
I'm just 30 yrs old, turning 31 on 9th August and this conversation is very timely and fitting.
I'm listening to it twice now as I'm typing this comment.
I'll surely share this with my family during our devotion this evening.
May God richly bless your families with good health and happiness.
The problem is that some people can't enjoy some food in moderation. That's the whole point.
Let’s gooo going in on the pod on this morning runn 5:27 am Cali time with my 10 year old son we getttimg it let’s go one more
"Be the inflection point" - amen
I agree with you that people are freaking out in some cases over nothing but type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance are very serious and it has been now well demonstrated that frequent spikes of insulin and blood sugar are highly detrimental to the cardiovascular system among other aspects of human health.
Furthermore, these disorders are not binaries, they are incremental and the threshold is an arbitrary number. If you're fasting blood glucose is 99 versus 101, or 125 versus 127 there isn't some switch that gets thrown biologically. These things creep up over time and have to be nipped in the bud.
I’m sorry about the passing of your mom, Nick, but she gave the most important advise to follow the Lord and have a relationship with God. Love the brand and will continue to support a company that is led by a believer in Christ.
First one to like and comment!!! LETS GOOOO
Good talk guys. Would look forward to you reviewing the weigjt loss shots...
Thought this was very interesting! Jordan, love that you experiment.
Great episode! 🙌
soooo super-interesting 🙏🏻
I think the lack of correlation between your energy levels and blood sugar is due to the fact that you are a healthy, active, muscular individual.
If you are obese, untrained and sedentary you don’t have the muscles to act as a “sponge”.
And testing himself for only 30 days has almost no validity.
Duh, watermelon spikes your blood sugar dramatically because it's pure sugar water. Why is this surprising to him?
I don't know if this feedback will mean anything or will be of any value, but it would be awesome if intro would be better packaged as something that's attention grabbing/highlighting key points/teaser/trailer that lures you in, if that makes sense.
I think that the diary of a ceo pod does great intros. In other words, instead of listening something on intro frame by frame for 1 minute and then having the exact same thing be repeated somewhere down the pod, it would be awesome if yall could make it different, "special", if that makes sense.
Otherwise, genuinely great quality podcast just from the first few minutes of listening! The quality of audio is really, really clean, nice to listen to, visuals are really nice. As long as the topics are relevant and interesting, and the topics are explored in a cool way, this can go really far. :) Best of luck

Don't eat carbohydrates simple. Professor Tim Nokes will guide the way
Moderation. And know your ingredients.
It really is that simple. I would couple that with focusing on meat.
If your goal is to optimize health, you better be militant about what you put in your face. The laid-back attitude towards food additives is the reason why the majority is sick.
It's not so much the additives themselves but the amount! The dosage makes the poison.
Nonsense. You wouldn’t say that about cyanide. A poison is a poison. Either, It’s benefiting you or it’s hurting you. It’s very black-and-white when it comes to these things.
The majority succumbs to advertising and great wealth and accessibility means that people will pay for taste and convenience. The message is always about taste in order to avoid any discussion about nutrition.
@@richardmiddleton7770 utter nonsense. No offense. That statement originated from processed food manufacturers. That’s what they want you to believe.
Doing any personal research for 30 days and drawing any conclusions is silly. If you lift weights for 30 days and only get a tiny bit stronger, do you conclude that weight training doesn't really work?
