Jenna is ROCKING that dress! Not easy because she's so petite (short) but the dress isn't overpowering her. It's Gothic-ish (Wednesday nod), interesting, modern, youthful, fun and sexy.
I don't like it tbh.

I liked Anya Taylor Joy's white hoop skirt piece. I also liked the black, but felt it was more conventional- I mean, I would wear that. But the white one was a little more daring/different. Fun to see that pieces like that can find a place to be worn.

The thing about Taylor is she absolutely slays a look or she totally misses. There’s never an in between. As much as I love midnights, the fashion for this era has been an absolute joke imo.

Luc!!!! 💡 I watched the Earthshot environmental awards and they had gorgeous fashion that was requested to be a "favorite in the closet you always wanted to wear again." I didn't watch all of the green carpet, but I would love to see you review and comment about this! I would love to see a world where fashion is sustainable and great designers can still create gorgeous pieces, and I would love to see tailoring and upcycling go big. Also we need more POC B-list attention, who frequently bring the fashion and don't get the attention and reviews deserved. Thank you for your reviews.
timothy’s outfit was actually cute in the sense that i think he was trying to channel the character he played in the movie he was just in, bones and all, and the choker has cute little bones in it too so i think it was kind of different than what he usually does and honestly well put together:) imo lol he could have gone further with it tho it is kind of giving tik tok
I guess he thought Rome is a bit less formal than Venice, so went for a simpler look. And he looks good anyhow so f*ck it. BTW that sweater looks soooo soft...loved the pearls

I at first thought the black underneath was wrong. As I looked at it I thought (1) seems like every beach non-cover cover-up. So whatever UNDER color would be okay
(2) in the sixties I owned 4 crocheted pieces-a tunic and flared pants in white and a set in black but a cropped top and pants.Tried white underwear but that look peaking through the holes looked weird. My solution was have the pieces lined. The black I wore a bathing suit over my underwear. Worst thing about these mix and wear outfits was how long the pants were-always dragged the ground/floor so one wear then yo tie cleaners.

I think the opening in the hoop skirt threw it off. If it were closed with the seam in the back or, if possible, made seamlessly, it would have been amazing. That split in the front bugs me the way it bugs me when my window coverings don't close right.
I noticed that we often discuss outfits of celebrities in terms of: does it just look good because she's skinny? Idk, I think it's fine to create clothes that look good on certain body shapes. But I think the fashion industry still has a long way to go to in terms of creating clothes for bodyshapes outside of the modelesque column. There must be clothes that look incredible on a fat body that just won't have the same effect on a slim body. Idk. We live in a world with a lot of diversity in terms of body shapes. Let's embrace it! How do fashion houses always try to innovate in terms of silhouette etc, but don't want to innovate with the bodies they create their clothes for? Won't diverse bodies create much more opportunities to innovate?
