Yeah I agree, somewhat different from your other work and I like it, this is a project I'd like to try one day.
My favorite part is the glaze you created with the UV resin. My mom loves the color blue, so she would LOVE this.
This might be one of my top three favorite pieces I've seen you do.

I really love the sprikles, and fhe clear glaze and pigments. I’m not so sure about the pooling glaze around the bottom - I think a smooth bottom would look like it feels nicer.

Definitely the bite mark, sprinkles ,and glaze made it a true doughnut.
Pretty Cool! I do suggest that if those are real sprinkles I would do another clear coat just to make sure none will rot.
I was wondering if those are real sprinkles. As they collect dust, you can't clean them without breaking them.

LOVE the bite mark! It looks perfect! I like the sprinkles and 'glaze' too, but if you do it again, maybe either use fast curing epoxy, and let it sit and thicken up a bit before pouring it, OR use UV resin with just a tiny bit (like the tip of a toothpick) of PVA glue mixed in (it thickens it up quite a bit... good for when you add glitter and don't want it to all sink to the bottom). Your glaze is too thin for my kinda doughnut, LOL. The burl and colors inside are gorgeous!
Loved it before you added to it as it looked like a magic landscape inside.
Bite mark still works for me, but sprinkles detract from seeing the beauty inside.

I gotta say it looked really good when you first finished it and then I seen you drilling the bite mark and stuff and thought it wasn't going to be a good idea, but seeing the final product it was really cool, so ya I think you did the right thing, good job my friend. 👍👍👍

For me, I would have just loved it as a globe shape. I really liked the way the colored resins flowed through the burl and it looked like a mountain scene with glaciers between the peaks. The donut is fun, but I liked it at the very beginning.

Very cool! Glad to be able to see some of the burl one the project is complete (I think it’s very nice looking wood, and it’s a shame to always completely cover the grain).
The sprinkles and bite mark add a lot. Perhaps if you do this again, though, make the bite a bit more shallow, round off the edges (gives it a bit more realism), and have some sprinkles falling into the bite.

I personally liked it without the bite and sprinkles, and the glaze as well, because they destract a lot from the burl inside. But they did make it look more like a donut. 😊

Loved this weeks project video! Not much to comment, but hope you had a good Friday knowing you are probably half way through your Saturday. Would you ever do any intro to wood turning videos for others wanting to get into it as like a best practices? Even if on the vlog channel?
The sprinkles and bite mark definitely was a good idea. Mrs said you should have done it pink like Simpson's donut
I have an idea that you can think about. There is a company that sales automotive paints and supplies called DIP YOUR CAR. you can see their videos on youtube. Anyway they sell all kinds of pigments, color shift pearls and flakes that mix into their clear top coat. I think they would work just as well in resin for some increabible effects.
When you pour colors, you most often just do random drizzles here and there which has good results, but it would be cool to see maybe some patterns sometime like concentric rings in this case with maybe a gradient of colors coming out. Just a thought 🤷 looks awesome though!

Bite mark yes, glaze yes, but I think the sprinkles took away some of the beautiful colors on the inside. Never the less it's still very cool.
