This video makes me want to go back to Tahoe. I remember when I had thyroid issues and how I felt. Drs wanted to prescribe me medication but I did my own research and now I feel so much better. Still a work in progress but each day gets better. Love these videos.

I'm a long time follower, and I've been through some pretty tough moments this year dealing with anxiety and getting healed from the inside out, so seeing you and Bo so healthy while sharing and contemplating God's marvelous creation makes me happy and grateful for I know "this too shall pass". Ok girl I live in Tahoe you need to drop the restaurants! I can tell one of them is Sprouts, but the one next to Primos I don’t know!!
Your Tahoe trip looked magical! Could you share where the hikes were? I’m going to that area next month for a friends wedding! She had actually already recommended a lot of the restaurants you went to. So excited!
How exciting! Omg perfect that she already recommend those restaurants I have to say it was some of the BEST food I’ve ever eaten 😍 if you go to three pines tell Dena I said hi 😉 you’re going to have the best time! So actually the first hike is to Calawee Cove but the day after we did it they officially closed the road to pedestrians for construction! We were told by a park worker how to hike in but that cars aren’t allowed but it even seems they closed the trail that gets there (the first beach we hiked too!) so it’s closed 😭 so sad! However Cascade Falls was the other trail and is AMAZING you will love that trail 😍 the meadow is at the end of the neighborhood where the South Lake Tahoe bike trail is, you just follow the signs and it takes you to the meadow! Have fun! 😍✨

Tahoes my home town so I can totally tell. . The bike rental is probably Tahoe Bike & Ski Company. It’s right next to Sprouts, Three Pines Coffee Co, and the Yellow Submarine Sub Shop.. they are all right next to each other 😉

Hey Cambria, I love the fact that you share your health journey with us because it is honest and real. Your wonder at God’s creation & His magnificence is beautiful. As a teacher, I am a firm believer in thinking critically & doing research & learning so we can be blessed and serve others. I have bought all of your books (love your devotional BTW!) & joined The Wellness Method. I love your passion and dedication to wellness and I trust that you seek the Truth because you are tasting and seeing God’s goodness and creation firsthand as you further your studies. Unlike other health professionals (in person & online) I trust you because you love God. I have a request as a long time viewer, would you ever consider making videos with the knowledge you’ve acquired after all these years. You include so much in your vlogs but it can be challenging to keep track of it & when I try to do more research on my own I get confused because I don’t have the foundational knowledge you do. It doesn’t even have to be professional advice since you aren’t an MD but anything you’ve learned in comprehensive videos (like a lesson?) would be good. What was the name of the first hike you took? Then one where you talked about electrolytes?
Unfortunately they officially closed it literally the day after we hiked it 😭 it was Calawee cove, you had to hike into it, a park ranger told us how to hike in, but they’re doing construction so it’s officially closed 😢 should be open next summer they said!
For those who don’t have thyroid problems, do we still need to have the potassium and magnesium and sodium that comes from for example LMNT? The reason I’m asking is because I have ordered it and I love it. It’s absolutely delicious, but I noticed that my heart races whenever I drink it and so I am curious if it’s right for everybody or just people with thyroid problems?
It means you need more potassium. LMNT is very high in sodium. Our potassium levels should be 3:1 ratio. At least more then double our sodium levels. Cambria consumes a lot of extra potassium from coconut water, aloe vera juice, potatoes etc in her diet. Try that or maybe u just need to take half a packet of lmnt and more potassium in your diet. It just depends on your initial sodium levels.
@@amulyfarah Interesting. Ok I’ll look into that. I do only use half a packet of LMNT and still my heart races so it concerned me but I’ll try to up my potassium and see if it helps. Thanks!
@@melissaprice8043it may be best to have your sodium, potassium, magnesium levels checked. It could be that your levels are already normal or high for one or more of those minerals. And drinking LMNT could be raising it more. If your levels are already in normal range or too high for 1-2 out of the 3 minerals, then maybe you can just buy the third mineral by itself instead of drinking LMNT.
I tried LMNT with aloe Vera juice and water 2 days in a row with my lunch and then my gums were hurting. My potassium is low on my HTMA and sodium is high. Not sure what was going on when I added in LMNT. Good to know that LMNT may not be the perfect fit for everyone.
@@andreaennis3200 wait... okay hear me out. I have had intense tooth and gum pain for the last several months. I even went to the dentist to check if something was wrong but my dentist said everything looked perfectly normal and healthy so we attributed the pain to a weird pregnancy / postpartum symptom. However, I don't believe that anything just happens without a root cause and I have consistently been drinking LMNT everyday now for at least the last 5 months or so and I'm starting to think maybe that is what is causing it!!!
