I'd like to see a video of the creative individuals behind the Just Planes videos, to connect on a human level with the faces that produce such amazing work.
Oh boy, yes I understand your request. This is our 31st year of making these videos and its been our policy never to make it about any of us here but rather about the airline, the aircraft and the pilots/crews on each of the programs. Some folks make their channel about themselves and thats really cool but here I think its good for us to remain out of the limelight and let the pilots be the stars however I'll certainly give your comment some thought and see if something can be done either in video or in writing. Thank you very much for the compliment though, thats really what we work hard for every single day!!

The 787 is a beautiful experience. The window and the lighting. Just incredible. I never believed it could make such a difference. The windows slowly lightening with an orange dawn and the corresponding cabin light colour. Just beautiful. Also the cabin atmosphere. No headache no sore eyes. No dehydration.

I went for a tour to Boeing a couple of years ago. It was great to see those planes getting prepared for flying! Some of them were being painted for Avianca etc. Great to see this video. At that time, cameras were not allowed inside the fabric so I do not have any photos inside.

please continue to make the 747-8i.... I don't want it to go on retirement... 777-9x is great, but nothing beats the 747... not even the A380
Interesting fact: I worked 40 years for Caterpillar mostly in Manufacturing Engineering. In the late 80's we had an engineer who previously worked for Boeing and he designed our manufacturing fixtures for hydraulic fixtures to operate on air instead of hydraulic oil. He brought the idea from Boeing aircraft. He told me he got the idea from the jackscrews that controlled the trim. His name was Al Llanes. No more oil leaks which saved us a lot of money on machine coolant used for milling, drilling, and boring.

My first long haul flight was 14 hours...seat aside, I don't think I would have 'survived' if it wasn't a 787. My biggest complaint was the dimmed widows because the airline kept forcing them fully dark the whole time.

The 787 is a technology advanced aircraft. No doubts but the aircraft can't fight turbulances and reduce them to smooth bumps. The 787 is shaking and moving like any other older earlier built planes.
Boeing really needs the PR, but they should rather focus on fixing the QC. No better PR that the one coming from the FAA.

I didn't see a Delta rudder on that wall. Why doesn't Delta order B787 ?
I am asking this question as there might be someone who know the 787 situiation very well, so, Is the 787 quality built or rushed? I have heard former boeing 787 engineers saying the plane has below standard parts fitted to it, Is Boeing just a renamed mcdonell douglas now? Is Boeing just wanting profit or do they care about making good planes? Are they lying? Is the 787 safe? Is boeing led by accountants now? And also, Will boeing fix the 787's issues like the contaminated wing carbon fibre and the panel gaps? I do not know who to trust, Boeing, or the former engineers saying that the plane is bad, and that the factories are very rushed, which boeing declines, I hope the 787 is a Quality and safe plane, as it is my favourite, I am just unsure of its quality, and reply and opinion will help me, thank you.

Ya they're hard to plan schedule wise because sometimes they shift even by a few days and that ends up being a big problem as our crew schedules are planned months in advance :) but hopefully there will be a couple more in the coming years...

I really respect the Boeing dudes explanation but airports and all the related crew have to give some respect to the customers after all everything marketing gimmick boils down to customers who are the lifeline of every business.
Too bad Boeing moved all 787 production to SC after this video. Sad. Hopefully something equally exciting will take its place.
