I tried to open a bakery but food keeps getting spoiled too fast to the point that I gave up, never knew there is a no food spoil mod, I will start a new game and make my family grow fruit a vegetables and I'll make them open a store to sell everything they harvest, I've always to have a family business in sims 3. thank you .

You can also use Lot Population mod, its so funny how people are spawning as zombies..

Thanks for sharing these mods. If you have more than one sim in the household, and you are off managing one not at the bakery, do sales still occur? I have the bakery set, but when I tried to run a bakery in one of my games, the oven was glitched, so until I sorted it out, my sim baked pies and cookies the night before at home, and had the pizza oven on the bakery lot so she could bake bread throughout the day. I finally go the glitch fixed by re-downloading the bakery set. What I did was make mine a purchasable lot and set it to visitors allowed. It's nice to see alternatives if you don't own the store content.
Yes sales will still happen. You don’t get notified of them though, you will have to check your business funds balance to see how much you earned.
Per chance are you still planning on doing a video on NPC run shops? At the moment I'm trying to figure out the logistics of making a functional cat café and debating the pro's and cons of running it via either a home lot or a community lot, but as I will eventually want to play other families, I'm trying to figure out how to keep it running atomically even after I switch family focus.
Hi! I completely forgot about that video I got a little sidetracked after running into issues with my ideas haha. I am adding it back to my list. And if you have not yet figured the cat cafe out, I may be able to do that lot type for the video as well! I have an idea I think will work :)
i made the bakery on my sim's residential lot and home, but now they can't use stoves. is there a fix? thanks!
Hm I am not quite sure why that would be happening. Are you using a public room marker? Maybe that will mess with the stove. Otherwise I have no clue.

Unfortunately i think the author is making a newer version of it, and took down the old version. You can see here it is being worked on. I think we just have to wait until this version gets posted for now. You can try to use the wayback machine to DL it i think. His channel also seems to be gone off youtube so idk if he is coming back or not... but last I knew he was updating it. I would share it but I do not have permission.
