    Glad to see another video uploaded. I'm getting ready to put in a 216/220 .600 tsp cam, with long tube headers and a 2800 stall. Hoping to get some 3.73 gears or 4.10 as well.

    Thanks man my 2010 titan spins the back tires really bad when I try too street race off the line, I'm probably going too try it in 4wd from now on as long as I know it's a strait shot with no sharp turns on pavement

    Great video, been a while since you've posted anything! Next mod you should do is a Speed Performance bolt on turbo kit. Cant beat the price, and itll definitely wake your truck up. Looking in the near future to add that mod to mine!

      Thank man! I know it’s been a while.. I plan on posting more often again. My goal with the truck now is to get new wheels and tires and just clean it up alittle. But definitely forced induction is in future with the truck👍🏼

    Do you have any weight in the back over the rear axle? My Ford keeps spinning into 3rd in 4x2 and that's really killing my times. I'll probably try it in 4x4 and see how it works. But ultimately the best thing for us truck guys to do is put some weight in the back. Not too much obviously but maybe 100-200lbs over the rear axle will get your rear tires to dig in a little more.

    I have a 2018 ram 1500 hemi and am gonna be drag racing a somewhat newish ford raptor. Ive never done a 4wd launch and was wondering if its bad on your truck. I also dont know how to 4wd launch. Do i need towhaul on and traction control off? Do i hit the 4wd auto or 4wd lock button instead. Do i hit the button again after going a certain speed?

  • @TheDailyAmerican
    @TheDailyAmerican Před 5 lety

    Hey man, what do you think about revisiting your tune? Now that you done a few things maybe we can do some launch tuning.

    • @JohnVesely
      @JohnVesely  Před 5 lety +1

      I’ve been wanting to get the truck retuned, I just don’t have hp tuners anymore.. isn’t it possible to stall the converter even higher while it’s in 4wd? Like past the stall rating

    • @TheDailyAmerican
      @TheDailyAmerican Před 5 lety

      John Vesely there are limiting factors that can be tuned trough and some that cannot it would be interesting to see what your limiting factors actually are and whether they can be worked out through tuning.

    • @TheDailyAmerican
      @TheDailyAmerican Před 5 lety

      John Vesely well let’s see what we can do about that. It would be interesting to do some experimenting with stall speed and launch rpm and what translates into the most consistent bad ass way to put power down

      4wd low in straight line only. Top speed about 80-85 mph. Your 0-60 will be less than 5 seconds. Maybe close to 4.5 ? Only straight line on pavement. Ive done mine on dirt road. 4.8 w 4 10 gears screams.
